Oh! That's right, I forgot to say what happened.
Well... I, uh, used some probe things to look around before trying to open the door. Lots of corpses, and then a dark figure rushed at the probe and destroyed it."

Replacing the 21 and two 22 cap stones with your new 30 caps, you deposit 16 mana into the totem and then head back to the house with Miimas.

Finding the door already unlocked, the two of you head in. Tuhota is sprawled on the sofa in the living room, sitting up when she sees the two of you walk in.

Miimas: ”Hey T’ota, got you a fish and some apples.”

Tuhota: ”Really!? Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I’m REALLY HUNGRY.”

Miimas: ”Well, just hold on a bit longer, gonna cook it first.”

You and Miimas prepare the fish, removing scales and guts and bones. Placing them in baking trays with some water and stuffed with spices, the three fish go into the oven.

Miimas: ”And now we wait!”

Tuhota: ”Errrrrrrrrr.”

Miimas: ”Here, eat an apple while you’re waiting.”

She tosses Tuhota an apple, who catches it and, after a light blast of fire to roast it, starts chowing down ferociously.

Miimas: ”Is Horo home?”

Tuhota: ”Yeah, she’s in her room hiding something. Not sure what she’s doing but she locked the door and made a lot of noise when you guys were still gone.”

"So, as I said, I ran into Lauffeuer, just outside Fluustern. Managed to talk it down, thankfully. Then, shortly after, a witchling came out of the woods looking for the queen it felt, Lucida.
Talked to her for a bit, then she went back on her way in the woods."

After heading inside and taking a seat in a room, or, shack section, you tell Aandern the story.

Aandern: "With the signal your sword gives off, that is not surprising. You should avoid the forests if you wish to avoid additional encounters, though I do not think you would be in danger if Lauffeuer does not attack you. The witchlings most certainly won't be antagonistic towards you."

Lauffeuer though, she wants a fight. Only reason that didn't happen was I said I wasn't at 100%. Would be getting cheated out of a good fight.

"Well, I don't know what your device did, but this definitely doesn't look like what the underground city was so far...

Say, if there's a big telepathic signal from the center, maybe that means there's a very powerful creature there? I'm not sure how it all works, but we might want to find some information about it before we do anything rash.

We could try to interact with these creatures. If they're hostile, going in deeper will probably just get us surrounded. If not, maybe we can find out what's going on."
