"Hey Andrew. What was your training like, for telepathy? How'd you get started in it?"

Andrew: ”Well, I didn’t really have formal training when I started. My mother turned out to be a natural user but never really worked towards strengthening her ability, I inherited my telepathy from her. Messed around with it when I was young, learning through experimentation and getting some tips from professionals. Got scouted by the state intelligence division and decided to join ‘em, that’s when my real training started. Proxies, encrypting signals, scanning signatures, going under the radar, those sorts of things. Can’t tell you much in detail, being the intel division an’ all, they have a lot of secrecy about things.

If someone wants to get into the intel division and they’re not a natural telepath, there’s some preliminary training that they go through to see if they can even do telepathy, else they can still take other roles. Desk work, or non-telepathy field work once they learn to guard their minds.”

Well, you’re not in any sort of pain. It feels warm inside the armor, but not stuffy. Comfortable, even.

You try to remove the armor, Tabi coming over to help, too. You can’t seem to find out where to begin taking this off, though.

Tabi: ”Uh, where’s the opening in this thing. Is it magic armor? Can you nullify it?”

After a few attempts, that seems to be a no. Negating the armor and the sword have no effect, and you can’t even capture either now.

Well, you do have this sword. You could try cutting the armor off.

It looks like a single 17 cap mana stone will get you a silver and 7 coppers, 18 cap gets a silver and 8 coppers, and so on. Past 20 cap, a 21 will get you 2 silvers 2 coppers, a 22 cap gets 2 silvers 4 coppers, and so on. Past 25 cap they start being worth a chunk more, but you don’t have any higher than 24.

Your release stones seem to be worth 2 copper per capacity, so your 30 mana release stone is 6 silvers.

For every 4 units of mana that you sell, you’ll also get 1 copper.

The chest plate of the armor begins to lift itself up, and you feel something peeling off of your body. Grabbing on to the armor piece, you slowly work it off, noticing in horror the layers of tissue and muscle attached to the hidden surface of the metal. Flesh that isn't your own.

Tabi: "God, it's alive."

You slowly work off the armor, being extremely careful not to harm it. As the metal and flesh peel away, you lose your sense of touch through it - probably a good sign that it's coming off.

Tabi: "Interfacing with your nerves sounds like an interesting workaround for making it function properly on nullifiers. I'm kinda creeped out how it managed to produce living flesh out of no where. Is it organic AM? "

After a few minutes of careful peeling, the entire suit of living armor is sitting on the bed. You put on your clothes and ordinary steel armor, grab the rest of your things and strap Hexestahl to your waist for now - a sheath had formed around the blade when you weren't looking.

Tabi: "Do we lug the suit around with us? I'm not getting a reading from it anymore."

The two of you continue towards Fluustern, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. You don't make it twenty steps before a loud wailing sound fills the air - the stag.

Whirling around, you prepare to haste - not yet, though. Not until something attacks.

Peering in the trees in the direction that the stag is huffing at, you can make out a tall, dark shape looming in the shadows, a dozen red eyes glaring at you.

Andrew: "I'm uh, gonna stand behind you now."
