You especially Kleigg, I've not seen you in a while."

Horoma: "Sure."

You transfer a total of 26 of your mana into her stone, and then go see what Tuhota's so enthusiastic about. It does appear that the stall vendor she's talking to deals with beast cores, with several of the artifacts locked in containment crates stacked on both sides of the stall.

Tuhota: "They can really do that!?"

Vendor: "Aye. Most schals don't do it, but I believe they're all capable of forming armor. The weapons have modified focus stones that enable armor formation, but I've seen a handful of schals do it on their own."

Tuhota: "Do you have any here that can form armor?"

Vendor: "Nay, they are rare to come across. It may also be them not knowing they can, not necessarily a lack of ability."

Tuhota: "Hmmmm. Well, that was a nice piece of information, thanks!"

Vendor: "My pleasure."

"Well, after we took shelter following the explosions, I obtained some critical information regarding Negation - a scholar helped me figure out that I could capture, hold and delete magical sequences. Even those that create artificial matter. I think I can become a walking armory of AM equipment for our cause.

Tabi here has something which might be of great theoretical interest to you construct builders and telepaths: a versatile control and input/output device for constructs. This system might gain very interesting capabilities if we score good crystal for it.

Oh, and another thing: apparently another Negation user is loose. A hero of some renown, capable of conjuring incredible barriers against physical and magical force.

We also have some intelligence on the further resurgence of runic magic. There is at least one group actively working to restore its use.

That is all I have to report, unless you are especially interested in what I had for dinner."

Enjii: ”Let’s head back to the shop, I wanna tell Miia.”

The two of you head back to the sword shop, opening the door to find the scarred blade dealer face-down on the counter.

Enjii: ”Hey Miia! Guess what!”

She sluggishly lifts her head up.

Miia: ”Eh?”

Enjii: ”I got a date, thanks to this guy here!”

Miia: ”Wha-really?”

She rubs her eyes, standing up.

Miia: ”That’s great! When is it?”

Enjii: ”The day after tomorrow, we’re starting it off at the cafe a block from the figurine shop, and then we’re gonna try to build a construct after! Anyways, I think I need a nap, I haven’t even slept, haha!”

He heads upstairs, leaving you and Miia on the store floor.

Miia: ”Well, looks like you managed to get him a date, so I owe you a sword.”

She hands you the magic colichemarde. Mission complete!

"Mm, worth a try.

Can you use a captured sequence multiple times? Or is it one shot, done?
Tabi, your invention certainly sounds interesting, but I'm sad to say I doubt I know enough about Constructs yet to put it to good use. Currently on the hunt for a regenerating mana stone or two.

Hm, another Negation user. Well, he sounds interesting, wonder if he's quite as 'interesting' as you Kleigg.

...Runic magic you say? What uh, what do you know about the group?"
