"Bear? Owl? Bowl!"

> Take the front lines, chuck mace at Bowl, dispel it on impact, summon shield in my hand. Defend allies with either Castle or manually moving to intercept the attack if close enough.

Also, try not to get mauled by the toffee Bowl.

WRYYYYYYYYY

caekdaemon - Al-Aris and Li-Rala [10, 9]:
"Hmmm..." Li pauses, examining the guardian. "As far as nature spirits go, I'd rate this one three out of ten stars on appearance, and two stars for personality."

"WITH TOFFEE DRIZZLE!"
Li thrusts her hands forward towards Urstrig, fingers wiggling menacingly at the large guardian. A thin rain of melted toffee appears over it, drizzling over its fur and making a bit of a mess, while some cream sprays onto its face. The sugary treats give it pause for a moment, but the spirit fades in and out momentarily, and the food simply falls through its body as it phases out of materiality.
Undaunted, you dash forwards, forming a significantly smaller Decay Cutter than before on your hand, barely more than an edge formed over your fingers compared to the full knife cutting blade it was before. Oh well, worth the cost to bring Li in. You hope.
The slash from your hand cuts a bit into the forest spirit's arm, putting a gash into its fur, which seems to be so small as to not even merit it paying attention to. The owlbear continues right past you, instead charging at Wassily.

Appearance: A big and bulky man that appears to be middle aged, with a full head of black hair and surprisingly dark eyes. He claims to be Middle Eastern in origin, but to an observer he would seem to be a little...pale.

Seraphimo - Dunrim [9]:
The owlbear looks between you and Wassily, deciding which to attack. Then, Wassily fires a flare at its face, and it decides on him. You take the chance to get away from it, and wait for a good moment. During its charge at Wassily, you see it, and dashing forward with the help of a quick Rabbit Jumper, you dump your shield energy into its side, right at the same time that Linna's hammer flies out of nowhere and impacts it square in the chest. The owlbear staggers and howls in pain, but is only stalled for a moment, then taking a swing at its original target, Wassily.
Jesus, did it even actually FEEL that attack?!

Appearance: His face is full of soot and he looks a bit pale but otherwise he looks like a normal human. He is a little shorter than the average human and he likes to wear fully protective clothing. His origin is claimed to be somewhere inside Europe though he's not telling where.

TheKebbit - Wassily Nuñez [6]:
The beast seems to be eyeing you and Dunrim, the two who approached it and woke it up, unable to chose which to chase. Until you fire a flare at its face, which bounces off impotently. After that, it seems to decide that you're more deserving of a beating than Dunrim. It charges, roaring in anger, and you beat a hasty retreat on your line of Sea as far as it goes, which isn't much longer. Then all of a sudden, the world goes white, and you're suddenly off to the side while Linna is crouched before the beast, shields raised, and she takes a mighty attack meant for you.
Glad to have the momentary reprieve, you quickly rake your fingers across the chart repeatedly, drawing lines of Sea all across the entire area, letting you easily navigate the area at will. With this, you should be able to keep yourself out of its reach.
Unless it can disrupt Land and Sea.

CaveCricket48 - Linna [10]:
Linna: "Bear? Owl? Bowl!"
Having decided on the Bowl's official classification, you grasp your maul with both hands, then swing it round yourself once, twice, and throw! It sails through the air in a beautiful arc, impacting square in the center of the Bowl's chest right at the same time as Dunrim unloading a burst of energy into it, making it actually stagger back and screech in pain. You then dispel the maul and summon a shield in its place, just in time to see it charge at Wassily, rearing back for a mighty swipe.
You immediately Castle with Wassily, and during the switch you instinctively raise both shields to cover you while taking a knee for stability, and as you come out the other side, the Bowl's massive paw slams into your shields. There's a tremendous screech of spirit claw on holy metal, and you see light peek through new gaps in the backs of your shields while you yourself are knocked onto your back from the force of the blow. You scramble back to your feet, and see the Bowl glaring fiercely at you now.
Linna: "♥♥♥♥."

Appearance: A young woman that seems a bit thin but stands on a sturdy pair of legs. Her short dark hair is still long enough to nearly cover her eyes that are already concealed behind thick glasses, making it difficult to read her expression.

maart3n - Mikey/Heph [1]:
Mikey: "WOLFIE CHARGE! Sword man, repair that bear totem over there! We're going to fight fire with fire! Mwuahahaha!"
The stone wolf then proceeds to charge at Matt, who is on his way out of the area, before quickly changing course and running over towards the ruined bear totem and jumping at it. It, uh. That wasn't what you wanted.
What? Why?
Wait. Wait a second. "Wolfie charge sword man, repair that bear totem over there".
Ah. You need to be very careful with what you say for the stone wolf. Great.

CrazyMLC - Matt Sterling [7]:
Hokay, this is getting a bit too crazy. You skedaddle out the hole in the barrier the others made to get in, and make for the treeline. Trees! Beautiful trees! Oh yes, you can work with this. The shield in your inventory dissolves away into sparkles, but you're too busy with Construction to care much. Not much you could do with it while wielding the sword anyway. With your sword, you take a few clumsy swings at the tree, and by combining that with your Construction, the tree quickly falls.
You then go at it with a few other trees working quickly, and you have a small stockpile of felled lumber built up within a minute. This will have to be enough, it sounds like ♥♥♥♥'s really going down back there.

Events: Urstrig looks between Wassily and Dunrim, deciding which to attack, and decides on Wassily after he fires a flare at its face.
It then charges at Wassily, who retreats along his line of Sea, before being hit by powerful attacks by Linna and Dunrim simultaneously.
It is only stopped for a moment, afterwhich it charges again at Wassily, even angrier.
Linna castles with Wassily at the last moment, and by using up two holy shields, manages to defend from the attack.

Matt runs outside the barrier to gather wood for a ballista, and Mikey's stone wolf makes itself useless by jumping on a broken totem.
Urstrig locks on to Linna, thoroughly displeased with the trouble these invaders have been giving it.

"Oh fudge. It seems he can make himself noncorporeal."

"And he just ignored my most powerful attack when it hit his body, but anything to the head seems to get his attention."

"Well...if we have to hit his head, I guess I should start using jawbreakers."

Shower the Bowel with jawbreakers!

It's more accurate to pronunciation for the words bear and owl to be combined into bowel :p

"Let's hope this doesn't come back to bite me in my ass..."

Shoot him in the back of the head with the cutter, but try to drill it in rather than try and slash with the attack.

"Bad dog! Wolfie charge THE BOWL!"
Give Linna a healthy boost of life energy so she can keep up her castle/shield shenanigans.

Tsunami roll.

caekdaemon - Al-Aris and Li-Rala [8, 9]:
Li-Rala: "Oh fudge. It seems he can make himself noncorporeal."
Al-Aris: "And he just ignored my most powerful attack when it hit his body, but anything to the head seems to get his attention."
Li-Rala: "Well...if we have to hit his head, I guess I should start using jawbreakers."
Al-Aris: "Let's hope this doesn't come back to bite me in my ass..."
You and Li leap into action, with Li summoning forth another shower of sweets to assault the spirit and you charging up another blade of decay on your hand, compressing and lengthening it into a long, thin needle of destruction. The jawbreakers rattle against Urstrig's head, bouncing off and distracting it surprisingly well. It still takes a swing at Linna, but it then waves around, trying to swat the source of the candy annoyance out of the air.
With the spirit distracted, you wait for it to face away from you, then dash forward and leap into the air as you approach, bringing your decay spike forward with a shout. It lands perfectly, spearing into the back of the owlbear spirit's head, who immediately roars in pain.
Oh. Hm. This bear is surprisingly lively for a spirit with a spike of decay energy in the back of its head.

Appearance: A big and bulky man that appears to be middle aged, with a full head of black hair and surprisingly dark eyes. He claims to be Middle Eastern in origin, but to an observer he would seem to be a little...pale.

Seraphimo - Dunrim [3]:
♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, this is above your pay grade. You high tail it away from the rampaging nature spirit, hiding behind one of the totems where it can't see you, and you pull out your phone.
Dunrim: "En, En, En... Come on, number. Dammit, ♥♥♥♥. Wait, I have Johnny!"
You don't have En, but you DO have Johnny's number in here. Not sure if En even has a cell phone. Regardless, you hit the contact for Johnny, and the phone dials automatically. And rings. And rings. And keeps ringing.
And then goes to voicemail.
DAMMIT JOHNNY, WHY NOW!

Appearance: His face is full of soot and he looks a bit pale but otherwise he looks like a normal human. He is a little shorter than the average human and he likes to wear fully protective clothing. His origin is claimed to be somewhere inside Europe though he's not telling where.

TheKebbit - Wassily Nuñez [3]:
This is getting bad. You quickly draw on your chart, raising the Altitude of the land around Urstrig as much as you can. You can see the ground around it shift slightly, then start bulging as rocks push out from the ground, but the spirit is attacked by the others, and moves outside your ring of Land too quickly to be trapped by it. It may be too much to ask the Chart to just make Altitude from nowhere like that.

CaveCricket48 - Linna [5]:
Immediately you banish the two destroyed shields, then make the largest shield you can on your right arm, a veritable wall of sanctified iron, and quickly take a defensive position, hunkering down behind the new shield on one knee, just in time to catch another of Urstrig's attacks. This time, Urstrig easily breaks through your guard, significantly damaging your shield and sending you flying across the field, rolling across the ground as you go. As you come to a stop, pain lances up your arm and a dull ache throbs across your whole body.
Linna: "Ow... that's... that's an arm."

Appearance: A young woman that seems a bit thin but stands on a sturdy pair of legs. Her short dark hair is still long enough to nearly cover her eyes that are already concealed behind thick glasses, making it difficult to read her expression.

maart3n - Mikey/Heph [3]:
Mikey: "Bad dog! Wolfie charge THE BOWL!"
It tilts its head at you, confused.
Mikey: "BOWL, BEAR OWL, THE BIG GREEN THING ATTACKING MY FRIENDS!"
It finally seems to understand, and excitedly jumps off to go fight the spirit. Or play with it. You don't care right now, you need to go help Linna. You look across the battlefield for Linna, and see her sprawled on the ground quite a ways away from the bowl, with the new large shield on her arm looking quite roughed up.
You make to run over to Linna and assist her, when suddenly you're knocked over by something large and solid hitting you. Dammit what now-
Mikey: "DOGGY WHY."
This damn dog, and your damn vague phrasing, it charged over at the damn bowl, then after finishing that came right back for more orders.

CrazyMLC - Matt Sterling [8]:
Materials. Good. You can work with this. Yesss.
You let your power sort of take hold of your body, and before you know it, the wood is putting itself together, taking shape according to your will, forming beams and braces, slotting into other pieces and fusing together as needed. You Construct, a bit quickly, certainly not elegantly, but it's a construction nonetheless. It only takes about a minute for your ballista to take shape, and as the last part, you form a large wooden bolt and slot it in.
Phew.
You wipe your brow of sweat, formed from the exertion of releasing so much power like that. Or, would it be from working with your hands to construct something so rapidly? You're unsure, this is all kind of nebulous.
...
Why were you building a...
OH, THE BEAR! YEAH! ♥♥♥♥, you almost forgot in the excitement of making this thing.

Events: Urstrig takes another swing at Linna, not destroying her shield this time, but instead knocking her across the field. It is then assaulted by a rain of hard candies, and pierced in the back of the head by Al-Aris.
It growls threateningly, the wound no more than an annoyance to it, and the person who caused it locked onto.
Heph's wolf charges up to the owlbear, then immediately turns around and runs back into Heph himself.
Matt constructs a Ballista very quickly with his newly felled lumber.
