Post Some Global Script Suggestions (Official or mod)
Loving the new Global Scripts feature in the Mod Manager (and the Mod Manager itself... very cool, and very useful! Thank you dev team!) so I thought I would post a few of my ideas for possible Global Scripts.

Low Gravity
- All gravity on all maps is reduced by half.

Carrying Capacity
- All held devices have their mass reduced by a third.

Gold for Kills
- All kills reward 20% of the killed actor's initial value in gold.

Free Stuff
- Everything costs 0 oz of gold to buy.

Natural Regeneration
- All actors regenerate 1 HP/second over time, with a 5 second delay after taking a hit.

Iron Grip
- Held devices can never be removed from an actor's grip.

Hopefully a few of these can be implemented as official game content, but otherwise I'd be happy enough with them made into a mod.

Feel free to post your thoughts/ideas!

Most of your ideas are totally doable, I think, with the exception of 0-cost weapons. Afaik, you can't really affect the buy menu in any way. Just play with a ton of funds?

You should check out my script collection in the mod releases. I've already implemented gold for kills (100% of actor value though) and gradual unit regeneration (HP and wounds). There's also a script that makes items slightly tougher to break, along with doubling joint strength.

I'll look into making low gravity next.

I would have imagined that Free Stuff would just have required changing every entity's GoldValue property to zero, but you're right, the game already lets you play with more gold than you can spend, so I'll take that off the list.

I'll definitely go check those out. Thanks for offering to help!

The thing is that you can't really change a weapon's actual .ini coded gold value, just the one it gets during the simulation, i.e. when it first appears in the game as a MO.

Yeah, figured that must have been the problem. Thanks for the explanation, and thanks again for attempting to implement these if you're still up for doing that!
