Post Re: Ad Infidium (Roll 104)
I almost want to go all in on Arcane, but... Eh, let's have a more RP'd stat distribution.
> 2 points to Arcane, 1 point to Will. 3 points to Mana, 1 point to Stamina. Learn Counter Force.
Stabilize or Lockdown the cuts on my legs so they stop bleeding, whichever is more effective for this.
Set my dodge behavior to Dodge automatically if I have any Evasion AP, and also use a kinetic push to dodge.
"Alright, now, I do hope you've learned your lesson about picking on innocent travelers. So, here's what we're going to do. First, where's your group's main camp, and how many of you are there? I don't feel like running into MORE of you guys this week, so we're gonna go ahead and avoid that like the plague.
Second, when we're done here, you're going to go south to Mead. Both of you. You're going to find a Lupus named Wolf, and you're gonna ask him to hire you. Mention John sent you. Then, you're gonna work for that lupus, making an honest living with other ex-bandits he's hired, and NOT accosting people on the road. Or else, so help me, I will put my fist through your face if I ever catch you preying on these roads again.
Are we clear?"

Also, reminder that this happened. Bunch of Caelum mages are the ones who attacked the guys near Mead, and we just went and got all buddy buddy with Caelum.

1 point to Arcane, 1 point to Evasion, 1 point to Speed. 3 points to mana, 1 point to stamina. Learn Acrobat.
Set to auto dodge if I have evasion AP available.

"I get your point. We can't afford to endanger ourselves in a situation as complex as this, and we don't really know what to expect once we get to Vranhal. Maybe a small pause wouldn't hurt as much? I mean, we already are hurt and perhaps we could do with a bit of rest. And we could give some thought to what we are actually going to do."

Kinetic push to aid in dodging? Doesn’t sound too hard, but you’ll need to do a bit of experimentation.

With the cut in your leg you’d be bleeding like crazy, but you stabilize it for now to keep the precious fluids contained.

"Alright, now, I do hope you've learned your lesson about picking on innocent travelers. So, here's what we're going to do. First, where's your group's main camp, and how many of you are there? Both swordsmen nod.

Bandit Swordsman 1: ”Our main camp right now is a bit south from here, at the most western point on the lake’s bank. About ten more guys there.”

P’orihc: "I think we might need actual gear, regular clothing will get us killed."

"If we had time, I'd say we should make camp and I could build some armor for everyone. But Lucida's moving, so that isn't exactly an option.
Unless we don't stop Lucida from getting to Vranhal. I mean, the ones who attacked the mages at Mead were Caelum, why are we going out of our way to help them?"

Miimas: ”You guys should invest in some bandages or something so you’re not bleeding out all over the place.”

She wraps some bandages around P’orihc’s wounds while saying this.

Bandit Swordsman 2: ”Caelum? We saw a pair of robed guys on horses moving through the area a few days back, not something I’ve seen before.”

*When we were in Mead we a saw a group of seven Vranhal mages, they left to go to Vranhal and got attacked on the road there by mounted mages, one of them survived and made it back to Mead, he claimed that Caelum were behind the attack.*
*After that we headed t' Immum and then Esthen t' get information on Caelum, shortly after arriving in Esthen we got ourselves involved in the debacle with Lucida and that's 'bout our situation.*

>Channel grant to finish healing.
"Caelum seems like it has several internal factions, might have been a radical offshoot or somethin' responsible for attackin' the mages?"

"It didn't seem to be interested in hurting innocent people though. Lucida was only attacking people who attacked it or tried to stop it, and these were its enemies. It's going to Vranhal for help, it probably won't attack any of them unless they attack first, and even then, it might just ignore it so that it doesn't turn into another Esthen."

"Indeed. After all, we don't really know what Lucida actually wants with Ultima. Probably just revenge against the people that got it trapped. Seems like we'll need to get to Vranhal and see if we manage to have a chat with people in there. Maybe Lucida itself, who knows. I guess we should go to Vranhal, find out what's going on, stock up on supplies and information and continue our hunt."

"That sounds like a sound idea. Can take that opportunity to make armor, too. A few other things I've been meaning to do as well."
> Keep Stabilizing my leg until Amaz can heal it.
"Oh, and can one of you juice up Kyeltziv so he can heal me? Stabilizing my leg isn't very practical for long term healing. Speaking of, why don't we share mana when we're full, so that we don't have anyone sitting with full mana and not taking advantage of their regeneration? I can start making mana stones with it if nothing else."

Can we overload people with mana or does it result in magic explosion?

> Deposit 3 mana into John and 3 mana into Kyeltziv.

"Speaking of sharing mana, we should try this in a fight if we eventually get back into one. You know, everyone gives mana to John and he casts an enormous fireball?

... Or we share all our mana with Kleigg and he nullifies Lucida completely. Why didn't anyone think of that?"

I think it'd just disperse and get wasted.

"Eh, I'm going to be moving away from non-Kinetic and Mana based magic. Making stuff and moving stuff. That said, Blast Wave is more efficient than a fireball, we'd get more oomph from it.
Though that's actually a good idea, having Kleigg nullify Lucida. It would probably hurt the mages in our group is the only thing. Of which there are... uh. Pretty much everyone but Kleigg. Eep. Maybe not such a good idea.
Miimas would be fine actually. I think. Do you use magic much?"
