> My Paladin Embodiment includes Armor. Chariots are fast armored transports.

Alter the two arm shields to create a pair of greaves with a large wheel each. Dispel third shield on back and replace it with a deck plate and a handhold or someshit, haul a person on my back and zoom off after the sailor.

"Damn, look how fast he is."

"Can this Embodiment deal with human cargo?"

>Reverse my course and attempt to pick up or "ferry" Mikey or Matt (depending on who tries the armored chariot), dividing my seagoing power to move their total weight at a modest clip toward the graveyard.

Seraphimo and CC really seem to have their movement well in hand. Al-Aris may need to pull the chariot, however.

I would rather travel through traditional means, as it is far, far too easy to get killed in ether option presented :p A screw up in the chariot can easy result in half the party going under a sixteen wheeler, while an error while flying means I can get impaled on a streetlamp.

Wait for the little devil to come back, hope and pray it is the right woman.

Sushi roll

caekdaemon - Al-Aris [-]:
Wait.
What the hell are you doing? You're supposed to be waiting for the woman. You quickly turn around and head back to the alley, and somewhat to your surprise, Johnny is still here.
Johnny: "Oh hey, you're back! Was wondering what you schmucks were all doing running off somewhere. Especially since you had the girl coming and all."
Al: "I... got swept up in their enthusiasm. But the woman. Is she..."
Johnny: "Ha! Bit of a one track mind on this one. That's good when it comes to women though, keeps ya on the straight and narrow. And damn, if there's anywhere that needs a man to be mindful, it's with women. Life lesson, kid."
Bellhop: "Yea! More than one waifu'll ruin yer laifu!"
The imp reappears in a puff of smoke, this time on Johnny's shoulder.
Bellhop: "She's right around the corner, boss! And uh, jeez louise, you din' tell me she was so pretty."
Johnny: "You didn't..."
Johnny's tone darkens, and he glares threateningly at the imp. He seems much angrier than someone should be at calling a girl pretty. Unless you're missing something.
Bellhop: "Nah! I'm a good listener, c'mon! Anyway, I-I wouldn't even been able to get the nerve up to. Like damn, something special about her."
Before you can interject, you see movement on the edge of your vision, from the mouth of the alley. Quickly turning to see, you see-
Her. It's definitely her. Her face lights up in happiness as soon as you turn to face her.
She knows you.

Appearance: A big and bulky man that appears to be middle aged, with a full head of black hair and surprisingly dark eyes. He claims to be Middle Eastern in origin, but to an observer he would seem to be a little...pale.

Seraphimo - Dunrim [-]:
Dunrim: "Damn, look how fast he is."
Well. The sailor's long gone, and everyone else is kind of slow. Let's see if you can beat that. Gathering energy from the air around you, you put it into yourself going forward, and as you do, you feel a slight but incessant push against your back. Like someone gently but firmly pushing against your back with their hands. It's not much, but it's noticeable, and definitely better than nothing. Breaking into a run, you can feel yourself going further than you expect with each step, and break into a long loping run to compensate. It works, and you're soon running rather quickly down the sidewalk. Luckily, there's very few people in the way, though a few curious drivers wonder why some guy is sprinting down the sidewalk.
Halfway down the road, you see Wassily zooming back towards where you came from, but you ignore him and keep going. After a few more minutes of solid running, you reach the foot of a cemetery situated on a large grassy hill. There's a tall iron fence around it, but an open gate about a block away should let you in without problem. This must be the place. You head over to the gate, and lean up against the fence to wait for the others.
...Huh. You're not even winded. Embodiment must make you stronger or something. Or maybe yours gave you more Energy.

Appearance: His face is full of soot and he looks a bit pale but otherwise he looks like a normal human. He is a little shorter than the average human and he likes to wear fully protective clothing. His origin is claimed to be somewhere inside Europe though he's not telling where.

TheKebbit - Wassily Nuñez [-]:
Wassily: "Can this Embodiment deal with human cargo?"
You consider it for a second. You ARE pretty much a boat embodiment. Though... at the same time, you're the embodiment of Navigation, not of carrying things or of ships. Probably... not. You could guide them through the city to the cemetery, but actually carrying one is a bit... different. Hmm.
Well, let's guide them then. You take off back the way you came, zooming through streets and around cars. Halfway there, you shoot past Dunrim, but don't stop to talk. You've got slower allies to escort.
A few minutes after passing Dunrim, you reach your other Embodied. It looks like Linna has... three shields. And is trying to run with them. Sigh.
Al-aris is gone entirely, which leaves the split personality guy and the old kid.
Wassily: "Hey, any of you want a lift? Not sure if I CAN, but I can sure try."
The one who woke up late, Matt you think, steps forward and quietly mumbles yes.

Appearance: A square man in a heavily starched uniform - white, blue, and yellow, battered radio and a flare gun hanging from his belt in a plastic crate. His face is creased with lines of worry. He bears papers and codes of many navies, corporate and scientific contracts, stamped, sealed, filed as paid.

CaveCricket48 - Linna [3]:
Ok, running isn't going to cut it. You've got too much heavy metal, and not enough running speed. But... what if you used one to solve the other? Like a...
Chariot?
They're armored. Sort of. Like a paladin! They also go fast, rather unlike a paladin. And have wheels.
Eh, not a perfect analogy.
You try shaping the shields. You can... make them circular, that's easy. Hey, you can make wheel-ish shields very easily! But... that's as far as you get. You can sort of curve them, so that they're like gauntlets or conceivably greaves, but they're kinda big and clunky. And then if you do that, you'd down to just one shield. This... really isn't gonna work. At least not now it isn't. You're still too new to this, and the shields are pretty much refusing to not be strictly shields.

Appearance: A young woman that seems a bit thin but stands on a sturdy pair of legs. Her short dark hair is still long enough to nearly cover her eyes that are already concealed behind thick glasses, making it difficult to read her expression.

maart3n - Mikey/Heph [-]:
Mikey: "Well you guys sure are subtle when it comes to using your new powers.... How about we just hail a cab instead?"
Everyone continues to use their powers to get to the graveyard.
This is what you have to deal with. You check your pockets, pull out a cellphone, and realize you don't know a cab company's number. Hoping you were a responsible person, you check the contacts, and... Yes! There's a cab company in the contacts, in case of JUST SUCH an emergency. You give them a ring, direct them towards your current location, and as luck would have it, there's a cab very close by!
After a few minutes, a white minivan rolls up, with a large Jamaican man behind the wheel.
...
Sure, you need a ride. You hop in, and give him directions to the graveyard down the road.
"Stone Hill Cemetary? Ja, no problem."
He immediately begins driving, and with the lack of real traffic, you make excellent time. While you drive, you actually check your pockets, and OH thank god, you have a wallet with some cash. That... should have been something you checked BEFORE calling the cab.

After dropping you off and getting paid, the cab drives off, and you look at the cemetary. Lots of thick square slabs of polished stone, in neat organized rows all across a gently rising hill. It's a pretty cemetery.

Appearance: Remarkably lean but still muscular machinist. Wears aviators, a white t-shirt and a pair of dirty jeans over leather shoes that look way too expensive for his line of work. Has been suffering from multiple personality disorder ever since his brother died.

Paedichorrhea - Matt [-]:
You keep walking for a bit, with Linna messing with her shields, Al heading back, and Dunrim just sprinting on ahead. Mikeph, or whatever his name is, talks to himself a bit about hiring a cab. You're about to join him, when suddenly Wassily shows up in front of you three.
Wassily: "Hey, any of you want a lift? Not sure if I CAN, but I can sure try."
Well... it beats walking. You quietly mumble assent to his offer for a ride, and it seems like he heard you. You should work on the mumbling thing. Or people could get better ears, you suppose.

Appearance: Caucasian, but with a slightly darker complexion. He looks a lot like your dad. Or brother. Or maybe that one guy you used to know. He just has one of those faces. He has medium-length brown hair, but sometimes things get away from him and it gets kind of long. He wears a lot of t-shirts and jeans, but occasionally wears a collared shirt and dress pants for fancier occasions. A few pounds overweight, but still has an alright physique. Thirty-something in age.

Post Re: Tiny Gods: Deux Ex
Al-Aris looked at the woman at the mouth of the alley...and in a rush of memories and warmth and love, he instantly knew she was the one from his memories, the bond between them so strong, so unbreakable, that there was nothing that could lessen the feelings they had for one another. Her golden locks

Al-Aris gazed towards the woman at the mouth of the alley, who smiled at him, a small and loving smile...and in an instant there was a dizzying rush through his mind as thousands of memories burnt into existence once again, an enormous wildfire of recollection ignited by the sight of her loving smile that seemed to make the entire world brighter, the long golden hair that the beauty of the finest summer's day paled before and the deep emerald eyes as green as the lushest forest. She was utterly without flaw, her looks perfect in every regard...she stepped towards him with sure, gentle steps...and when she stopped in front of him and asked with a voice sweeter than birdsong.

"Hello, Al. Do you remember me?"

He threw his arms around her, hoisting her into a close embrace...and instantly, everything was right in the world.

"Of course," he answered without a single doubt in his heart or voice. "I could never forget you, not in a million years., love"

He knew what she was, what he was. How could he forget that, when it was the very core of who they were? The mere act of remembering who she was had brought that to the foreground, but it mattered not what they were, not here in a different land. He had felt incomplete without her by his side, but holding her again had filled an insatiable hunger in his heart, even if it had only been there for but a few moments. She kissed him, short and quick, but he never needed it to be long to know how much she loved him, and how much he loved her in return.

"I was looking everywhere for you, you know. You've gotten good at hiding your power, Alar-"

He coughed awkwardly, gesturing to Johnny and the imp perched on his shoulder as he let her out of his arms again.

"We're on...holiday, remember?"

She laughed. "Oh! I had gotten carried away, love." She looked past him at Johnny and his companion imp, and smiled at them fondly, as she did to everyone. "Thank you for finding my fiance, he sometimes gets into trouble," Al-Aris burst into laughter as she continued, "My name is Li, Li Rala. I'm from..." she trailed off into quietness.

"What was the place called again, love?" she asked her lover, her voice no higher than a whisper.

"China, I think. Or was it...Korea?"

She looked away from him and smiled again, trying to act as innocent as possible. "China. I'm Chinese, and my fiance is from...the Ottoman Empire."

"Namastē," Al-Aris greeted with a smile. "Thank you for bringing my pyāra to me! Li, this is Johnny, and...I don't know the name of the little one yet, but he seems alright."

Handle introductions, and then try and catch up with the rest of the party.
