Re: The Lounge
I haven't been feeling too good about some relationship issues in the past week.
So I've just been playing the GameBoy Advance version of Harvest Moon.

Re: The Lounge
I've only ever played the Gamecube version, and then Rune Factory, which is like harvest moon but more rpg-y. Still prefer the first Rune Factory to any other, though 2 and 3 are pretty decent. Never got very far in the Wii version(s).

Re: The Lounge
It's pretty much as described, Harvest Moon + RPG elements. There's normal crops like potatoes and tomatoes and corn, but there's also special fancy flowers that sell for a bundle, or crystal fruit or whatever. Also, you can go into "dungeons" (really, just areas with monsters, not always underground) and kill monsters for materials to make better weapons, and the dungeons are always the same season, so you can plant things there that take longer than a season to mature. The usual marriage system exists, but now you've got elves and stuff to bang as well as human women.

Next question. Dark Elves?
In later news, IPFS Alpha is up.

Re: The Lounge
I played Metal Slug in an arcade today for the first time in like 5 years. I forgot how fun it is to play it over there instead of my PlayStation.

Re: The Lounge
Major and I have been wrestling with various degrees of unpleasantness (work's kicking his ass, for instance) so things are going a little slower than I'd like, but we're getting there. Just need to get a dropship figured out* and we'll be ready for first public release.
*Technically we could launch basically right now, but I'm a strong believer in factions having their own transports. It's something I never got to do for the Space Marines, so I'm making sure the Brotherhood and [REDACTED] have their own dropships to play with, not just drop pods.

I have successfully obliterated all hope for a normal sleep schedule by sleeping from 1800 to 2300, and then from 2330 to 0200.

Re: The Lounge
Its been brought to my attention by someone else that my drunk post from earlier seems as if I was writing off everything I posted as overly emotional on my part. It wasn't, and I was referring specifically to complaints made towards Duh and Mackerel. Rajani doesn't want to post about it personally because she feels like none of you would believe her or care. The latter has been expressed greatly, and as much as I like some of you, it's reason enough for me to stop going to this website. As cool as Cortex Command is, the forums aren't.

;-; Arcade is the way to play, except actually getting some serious play time in always costs me lots of dosh. I can't imagine trying to beat the last part of Metal Slug 3 in arcade, it would bankrupt a small nation.
