Rules updated! Posting changes below, roll will follow shortly.


[-Waiting and reaction actions-]

Actions that make a character wait for a turn will give doubled total speed for the next turn. This cannot be stacked (no waiting for 2 turns to get 4x Speed).

If a character is directed to react to a particular move, speed is still used to determine whether or not said character acts before its target. However, if the character takes no action (as the appropriate event to trigger the reaction does not take place) AND the character is not stumbled, then the action will turn into a waiting action.



[-Stumbling-] (this isn't new but is getting its own section for more visibility)

If a character receives a Trauma value (see Conditions) that exceeds the character’s Will, then the character is stumbled for the turn. Stumbling reduces Evasion to 0 for the rest of the turn and cancels all of the character’s following actions.



-Race bonuses-
Human:
Intermission - Spend 1 AP to recover 1 Stamina and Mana, and expedite debuff recovery by 1 turn.

Chirop:
Flight - Chirop are capable of sustained flight. It takes 1 AP to take off (but not land)

Lupus:
Sixth Sense - Lupus can passively detect magic that would otherwise be unnoticeable without active detection or a visual cue.


Magic color codes! This will be used to make your Magic skills easier to look at. All magic branches are colored black except for the end branches, which all use a unique color. Actual abilities are left white. When an ability is used in the Event log, it will be colored with its magic color group (see roll below).

A ball of light appears above in the dawning sky, looking like a star hovering close to the earth.

As for yourself. you try to do that kinetic blast thing from earlier, except without the part where it explodes in your hand. Hmm, perhaps if you can figure out some way to directionalize it…

Standing firm, you whip your palm up facing down the street and let loose a blast of controlled, directed kinetic energy, resulting in a cone-shaped blast wave erupting outward without damaging your hand.

Not long after, two robed figures appear from the other end of the street, one red and one black.

Red Mage: ”Is something going on?”

It doesn’t feel like much, hell, the hair shirt you’re wearing is more uncomfortable.

Your practice session with Ki’stha is interrupted by the appearance of four figures in hooded robes. Two of them are red, one white, and the last black.

One of the red ones points his finger at you.

Red Mage 1: ”You there! You have been reported for suspicious behaviors dealing with religious activity and have been noted as a potential follower of Caelum. You will be taken in for questioning. Will you come peacefully?”

Across from the duo are four human mages, or you assume so, from their colored cloaks. Two are red, one black, one white. One of the red ones is pointing at Kleigg.

Swordsman 1: ”Did he get himself in some sort of trouble?”
