I finished the Witcher 2. I'm rather dissapointed by some things, mostly game mechanics and the very weird balance of the game, like crafting a sword that took a while to get the components for, and a few minutes later scavenge one that is slightly better, or some quests that gave little experience and then finishing some that leveled you up three times.

Every battle in the end was just roll and heavy slash, ocasionally spaming some magic signs. Though I did have fun in many battles when I used bombs and traps for the sake of using them. It's funny because traps and lures don't really work like one would expect, planning a careful ambush on some baddies is impossible, you'll simply set a trap as they run to you and activate it. Though what was really boring was that by the end, I dealt way too much damage, and the final bosses took few hits to defeat.

Fluff wise the story was pretty good, though I feel the game was sort of rushed, the ending went quite abruptly, I didn't expect the game to finish so soon. I hope the third one has better, less exploitable combat mechanics and they don't deliver a game that feels incomplete. It was enough with Knights of the Old Republic II ;-;

Finished Portal 2 now. That was a pretty fun game, the ending almost made me cry.
