bruh u trippin

It might as well be true.

It's another genre that's heavily merged into the amalgamation of all these... just.. so original.. games.

Anything can be a roguelike nowadays, you just have to have semi-retro graphics and at least partially randomized somethings. Doesn't have to be top-down, 2d, turn based, heavily equipment based, or in any other way similar to Rogue!

There is some truth in this...

You find yourself playing all sorts of garbage with better and better graphics but no actual story/gameplay all the time and you get really sick and tired of it, eventually finding yourself losing interest after a couple of hours of playing a game, regardless of it's quality.

But of course, there are exceptions. You do get to that one gem of a game from time to time.
The kind of game that you can't get away from until you finish it 101%.
That game that the moment you exit, you start it up again because you can't get enough.
And what you do finish it 101%, you get this empty feeling inside of you that craves for more.

But those ones come out rarely these days, and of course it depends on what genre you like.

I mostly find myself scrolling through my Steam library thinking which of my 50~ decent games (out of 300~) should I play, eventually just losing interest in playing anything.

@ Natti

Get Falcon BMS.
I got my engine operator license on the F-16I with the help of it.
The amount of detail put into operating the craft is insane.
You can pretty much do 99% of what you can do on the real thing, and trust me, I have plenty of experience with the real thing.
It is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to play without a joystick though.

Yeah I've been flying Falcon BMS lately, the campaign it has is insanely well done
I've completely fallen in love with the Viper's multirole capabilities, since you get far more variety in your missions
Oh and it's so simple to operate too, compared to like the A-10c in DCS, only took me a couple of tries to memorize the start-up sequence, it's so bloody easy to fly
Oh and don't forget AMRAAMs actually working properly, in DCS they're unreliable as ♥♥♥♥ and never hit

I just wish I had someone to fly in coop with

There are lawn mowers with with much complex start up sequences than the F-16.

During my service I got to speak with some pilots who have flown the SkyHawk, the Phantom and the F-15 and they all said that the flight control system on the F-16 is fancy as ♥♥♥♥ and basically allows any retard to take the thing into the air.
That explained alot to me because there are plenty of retard pilots in the IAF, especially on the F-16.

So they got that FLCS ♥♥♥♥ incorporated precisely as it is.
