Whenever I evacuate the brainbot to orbit in any mode of the game, it seems to crash. Not sure why, it isn't a gamebreaking bug but it does get annoying at times. The game doesn't crash at any other time. Any help in fixing this bug would be appreciated. Thanks!

What mission are you playing?
It's an issue with the lua script for the mission trying to do something to the brainbot, but since it's left the map it no longer counts as alive. The best solution is probably not to evacuate your brain, though if it's the metagame that might be a bit hard (also it'd be strange that the metagame would crash on that).

The mission itself is irrelevant, even when the mission calls for the exfil of the brain the game crashes to desktop.

Also even if the brain doesn't count as alive, it shouldn't crash. I've had the brain die and it not crash IIRC. I can test that real fast tho.

I haven't played the Campaign yet or "metagame" as its called.

EDIT: Yeah, killing brainbot doesn't crash.

The mission may be relevant, or does it happen on more than 1 mission?

The issue may be about the evacuation craft with the brain rather than the brain itself if the brain can die fine, I'm not sure without knowing what mission(s) you were playing.

It crashes with the standard dropship too. :/

Still wondering about those missions (i.e. which missions).

IIRC Chip Retrieval and Marginot Defence, probably does it with other missions too.

Sorry for the late reply, I was away then busy/forgetful. I've tried evacuating in the zombie cave mission, before and after completing everything else, and had no issues. You're using the right version and so on right?

I've got the steam version which is iirc at version 30.
