Hey I've been wondering why are the bodies of water on the planet circular? and some even have islands in the middle.

Well, I would assume they're circular from meteorite impacts. A real life example of this is here: And from what we can see on this side of the planet is that the land is made up of a super continent. Earth used to have a super continent when life was small lifeforms. The most intelligent life form on the planet are the Crabs; a very simple and small life form. So it's possible that this planet is a fairly young, simple life harboring planet. I would think so because of the reason I said.

Another possibility for the oceans being circular are from the war that's happening and all the mining going on.
