i would take a screenshot of my recent posts but i feel that would be smarmy and self-righteous, so i wont do that
i do respect peoples' choices to have opinions and express them, and i usually just ignore it when someone talks about something that doesnt interest me. i dont think that me personally expressing my distaste for something in a discussion which originally stemmed from someone else expressing their distaste for something is at all uncalled for. my opinion of frozen resonates with coops', in that i think its an over-hyped topic and people talking about it annoys me. saying "people shouldnt talk about it" sounds like a self-centered demand, but taking that at face value and trying to say that i quite literally think i should be able to decide who talks about what is silly. frozen annoys me, i dont like when people talk about it, thus i say i dont think people should talk about it, and i do not wholeheartedly mean people shouldnt talk about a movie i dont like. i mean that i dont like hearing people talk about it. thats what it boils down to.
its not like im personally attacking someone's opinions about the movie; nobody was standing up to say "i like this movie", and i did not respond "that movie sucks and you suck."
i feel this conversation has taken a turn for the extreme when an argument has sprung because i said i dont like a movie, and that i dont like hearing people talk about it, but i wont say it's unfounded. i was certainly being rude in the way i said what i said, but i believe the response i got from that was unfair as well. i wanted to avoid an argument about this, because i feel like im being backed into a corner over a very tiny statement.
this entire exchange has been rather hostile and blown out of proportion i dont think that's really warranted. i dont want to turn this into an exchange of text walls because i said i dont like a movie. i dont think its fair that you have judged my entire character based on 3 posts (which?) i have made and concluded that i dont respect the right of people's opinions. nor do i really want to continue to argue about this, but i also dont want to listen and not respond as i am being mocked for being too hostile in my dislike of a movie.

yea that wall of text had very little to do with anything. im not judging your entire character based on 3 posts nor am i personally attacking you. all im saying is *recently* all that ive seen from you is you telling people not to do things you dont like. that is called passive aggressive behaviour and its bound to provoke some kind of response, thats its entire nature. im not saying that you are a passive aggressive person or anything like that.

as for people calling you edgy thats not on me, im not partaking in it and i dont necessarily agree with them. if that is how they see you and you have an issue with it, perhaps you should seek answers as to why they see you that way. if you will look back you will see i also questioned why coops said what he did as well. i truly dont understand why anyone has to say things like that. you can easily say "yeah this subject bothers/annoys me" or "i personally hate this thing and think its stupid and im sick of people talking about it" but its simply unfair to say people shouldnt talk about it because its stupid.

it matters because you compared them to bullies who will hit people for disagreeing with them when the disagreement itself isnt the problem in the first place? i dont think its okay for anyone to behave that way, youre not an exception. ive made attempts to call you out on it before on here as well. nobody is safe from my elementary school teacher antics of stating what should be obvious in regards to basic respect. nobody.
