Re: The Lounge
Grats!
Looks very cool. Are you going to kill something with it?

Re: The Lounge
Considered hunting, though it'll definitely see use on the range.
I don't have a scope yet so I don't think I'd be very effective at hunting.

Snipers prefer iron sights, so, you know.

Re: The Lounge
I see your point, but at that range, you may as well consider it over the horizon. Snipers operate within a kilometer, anyways.
It's an issue of weight, profile, and lens flare, not the fact that you need to go to the target location a week or more before the target does, and have to stay incognito while anti-sniper squads try to suss out snipers several feet away from you for a few days.
Besides, snipers come with spotters.

Re: The Lounge
One astounding man who got that many sniper kills with a modified moist nugget doesn't make up the general sniper population though. Very impressive

Re: The Lounge
I don't think I have to worry about counter-snipers when hunting deer.

Re: The Lounge
Yeah, the main reason Häyhä used iron sights was the reflection glint and having to raise his head too high, making him an easy target. It's funny how he's often brought up when snipers are mentioned. He was pretty much the exception, when it comes to most things related to sharpshooting.

Omg hardscoping is for noobs. You have to raise the scope to your face for just half a second before putting it down

Re: The Lounge
I thought that the barrel was chrome plated or stainless steel. Also, shouldn't you use a higher caliber for hunting deer than the .223?

Re: The Lounge
Yes, generally something around .308, I sincerely doubt Cave is going to be able to hunt a deer with that thing. Go groundhog hunting.
