Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
I just tried out Outworld Devourer, stomped the enemy team. I'm trying to get good at Doom, but his early game is the absolute worst.

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
I can't even begin to comprehend the sheer level of skill and genius that goes into Puppey's decision-making Like I will never be a tenth of the player he is, let alone get anywhere close to his level of captaining Feels kind of bad man

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
http://dotabuff.com/matches/327648586Brewmaster is pretty fun, 25% evasion / 25% chance to do 200% crit is a neat-o passive, it's like a free Crystalys + Talisman of Evasion. Also pretty tanky. Died a total of 0 times against repeated Morphling / Enchantress / Night Stalker gank attempts, then died 0 more times in every fight after laning. Cycling through his ultimate spirits' stuns is kind of tiring but they do stonk damage so it's all good, especially that ♥♥♥♥ fire panda man.

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
So I began playing this because a friend was all the time like "dude now that you have a good computer play it!!". It's very fun indeed, but my laggy internet is awful. Also I clearly need to play it a whole lot more to become better, but damn if it isn't fun. Look me up on Steam under this same name, I'm most of the time open for some practicing rounds

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
US east is laggy as ♥♥♥♥ recently AND its filled with people who dont speak english so i play on US west now, its a bit better in both regards i just really dont get why people play out of their region when all it does is make it harder to communicate with everyone like, south america and russia have their own servers. why go to other ones? i can understand if you live in central america and the US servers have better ping tho

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
I haven't had any real online matches, only training with a friend. My internet connection is quite fast when it's not being a butt-tard, I have ~30 ping in South America servers and ~120 in US East, which isn't bad.
Also it's notorious how some heroes are very newb friendly and others aren't. I had a very easy time with Viper, Outworld Devourer and Dark Seer, they are pretty straight forward and at least I didn't desperately need items to not get owned so hard. There's just so many heroes though.

Re: DOTA 2 - The thread
First non-practice, non-bot match I've ever had! I did pretty good because Viper is seriously the easiest to use hero if you use your brain a bit, and because the other team was quite nooby. Guess I don't know if I'm better than average yet We should totally play a DRLFF match soon! EDIT: Third match. We were both even teams, until our good guy quit. We had a huge noob in Juggernaut. After getting Assasinate and Maelstrom I began pushing mid and bot 'till I could eventually get Butterfly and Mjolnir. At that point I was unstoppable, I attacked every 0.38s with around 280 damage. Was a nice match because I managed to get tough soon enough, it sucks to get a bad team. Specially if the bot was better than one of the noobs that quit lol.
