Watch Revolutionary Girl Utena. Despite being from the ancient era known as the 90's it somehow manages to be kinda progressive. Aside from the gender politics it's got some really unique and interesting art, beautiful music, and even lots of weird symbolism if you're into that sort of thing. Its influence on modern giants like Madoka are strikingly apparent.

Re: Animos
please tell me im not the only guy here who watches romance animes like golden time
Im not even in the mood to watch Nisekoi anymore, I read the whole manga, now I dont even wanna watch it. I still have so many unfinished crap on Crunchyroll, probably about 9 or so. I'd make a list but Crunchyroll's down atm. which is pretty rare.
-Golden Time (havent watched it in forever) - Pet Girl of Sakurasou (still got a few more episodes left) - Nisekoi(screw that..) - Seitokai Yakuindomo (strange perverted humor, I'll just keep at it till its over) - Angel Beats (k) - Strike the Blood (yeah, sure) - Kotoura-san (been done) - Brynhildr in the Darkness (havent watched) - La corda d’oro -Blue Sky- (havent watched) - Black Bullet (havent watched) - Bakemonogatari (havent watched) - No Game No Life (havent watched) - Girls and Panzers (what the actual ♥♥♥♥ am I watching) - Akame ga Kill (havent watched, read the manga, looks really nice) - SAO Season 2 (havent watched)
Guess I should get busy before summer ends.

Bakemonogatari has a rough first few episodes. Get past that, and it's funny, charming, and ♥♥♥♥ fantastic. No Game No Life has a very boring first 5 minutes, but then it gets great and never stops.
I need to finish Nisekoi, got like 5 episodes in and then did other things. Black Bullet too, it looks good.

Re: Animos
The only reason I didnt like the Nisekoi anime was cuz its pretty much the same thing as the manga, more or less. Got bored of it pretty easily. I also watched NGNL, looks pretty nice so far :p I'll watch bakemonogatari when I get back home

Another thing about NGNL is that it is ♥♥♥♥ gorgeous. I just can't get enough of the art in that show, I seriously adore it. It's all so vibrant and colorful and prismatic.

Re: Animos
I decided to watch Naruto (not Shippuden) out of nostalgia. It has been a solid experience with a lot of memorable characters and interesting fights. Skipping the filler contributed a lot to the good experience. Though I see that they really cheaped out on the animation in the last few seasons. Without the show going in a million directions, it has a lot to offer. It's not anything amazing, but definitely a solid shonen.
