I also play dork heresy with buds online, honestly it's better online because it's a text based game and online lets the dm concentrate his thoughts more and make better story, and the entire game is conveniently logged so we can look back at it and laugh

What's Desperate Gods?

It is one of the many Ludum Dare games that Wolfire did in the past; the dare was to make something involving a genre that you don't particularly like.
Etc, etc, this was the result: An open-source, 3d, physically simulated tabletop for a game called "Desperate Gods", though it can be easily made into something else, but since then, someone made Tabletop Simulator.

You can roll or shuffle by shaking the mouse. Etc/etc, the controls are pretty damn good.
