Post Re: Airplanes
Dayumn Kettenkrad, I've never seen those things before.
I love planes as much as the next guy, but I recently applied(and got asked to return next year.) to fly one of these badboys:
Aced all but one test. : (

Now back on the subject of jets, can anybody identify this one?

Kittyhawk did it first :P
The guy lost his port aileron and 25% of the wing area to a direct hit from triple-A, flew ~320km home.

At first glance, Maarten, I thought that plane was an F-104 Starfighter :0

Another cut-away!

As for what the previous plane was, I'm not entirely sure, I saved the image ages ago. But from the shape of the air intakes and the two engines at the back, I'd say it's the F-22.

Post Re: Airplanes
Oh man, one of my cousins owns an airfield that he hosts an annual fly in out of and regularly flies his old kit planes out of. But I live near Whiteman AFB, my gosh, summer is the best time, we regularly see upwards of twenty to thirty military aircraft per week out here, it's great, even if it is extremely distracting.
