And saying that your wrong doing is a learning experience for others is not a good justification for what you did. You're fortunate that I'm not outright disqualifying you from the current contest, though it looks like I don't need to anyways. You've garnered enough dislike for people to just vote against you.

And this is not a vote for presidency. This is a mod making contest. You "persuading" people should be limited to your mod alone, not from attempts at gaining attention through PMs and posts outside of your contest entry topic.

And if you don't know how to do something, you look at how other people do it.

They're not asking other people for votes, they're not asking for opinions, they're not including exclusive sneak peak images for other mods.

If you're pulling the excuse that you did nothing wrong because it was not breaking a specific rule in the mod contest rules, you can count yourself out of all future mod contests. My tolerance only runs so far, and I'm not willing to let someone participate in a contest that has a prize with monetary value if that person is giving the "but it's not in the rules" when a little thinking could have avoided the whole problem.
