Its probably obvious by now that i have been searching for a good mod of the static coalition turret and as it stands nothing has shown up in searches even remotely close.



I have already search numerous times on the search and other, so if someone says use the search tool you better provide a link because i have already exhausted the following..

As someone who has played this game for a long time, I can honestly say I've never seen a good turret. There were some from Crobotech that were passable, but they seem to have lost most of their functionality.

I have never seen one mounted in a wall in this fashion, but now that I have... I want it!

You've piqued my interest, so now I might start looking into modding turrets. A long way back I did some work on mechs, but didnt get much past spriting. Keep me informed if your find anything.

i've already had a look at Crobotech and AAL along with a few others like but isn't really that good.


there is also a dummy version from B23 but its the same thing really a rush mod.

If anyone wants to clean up the sprites, let me know. I'll send all the sprite files.
In terms of functionality. The turret will have the Support as being the base of the turret.

I made a cannon bunker for the Dummy expansion, it is mounted in a standard bunker module, but it fires impulse blasts. And its OP as all Hell.

Yeah, i think i've seen that before it was in a B23 mod and had parts from the dummy dropship.

I was considering doing so ..... it would be easy.. the only problem is I only have GIMP, not MSPAINT.

so what your saying is you need MSPAINT? because the newer version is junk..
