I'm trying to find a combination mouse + keypad with a directional pad too so I can play games one-handed, this is the closest thing I can find.

Roughly what I'm looking for:

Razer nostromo, logitch G13. This stuff already exists.

Man, you could have one glued to each hand.
I wouldn't, only has a circular Dpad and 15 buttons on each. No real way to aim/do anything precise ever.

That looks really fancy. After getting used to it, it must make gaming a quite interesting experience. At least in my case, I feel that I'd be moving, waving and shaking my left arm randomly until getting used to it :P

The point of them is putting movement on the thumb so you get four fingers free to do whatever the hell you'd like to use them for.

Razer has something similar to that

I like how they managed to make the membrane keys sound like a good thing. Especially since they claim the mechanical keys are superior in every way on their other keyboards.

Also cave, try using a wii-nunchuck or similar for both movement and aiming. I never got such things to work perfectly, too much for one hand.

The razer stuff are replacement for keyboards, not one-handed gaming devices. If they made one of those except for the right hand and also a mouse, it'd work, but until then it isn't gonna cut it.

Maybe, but I'd need something with more buttons on it.

So I made a game in 48 hours for Ludum Dare. The theme was "Beneath the Surface." My game was inspired by a profound misunderstanding of how submarines work.

Make sure you read the instructions before you play it!
