Re: The Lounge
Some guy tried telling me there was going to be another Saints Row. I'm like, nah.

Re: The Lounge
Saints Row is dumb fun
GTA, better story generally, usually more content overall, but I can't dropkick through a speeding car or use a dildosword to fight a horde of furries, so.

I'm trying to generate discussion and stuff.
Things are moving quite slow.

Re: The Lounge
I have played neither series, so I don't have anything to contribute to the conversation.

Re: The Lounge
I haven't ever played Saints Row. But since I know GTA from before, it has to be a copy.

Re: The Lounge
I started playing dwarf fortress again. I forgot how many hours I could waste in it. Twelve hours later and I have a fort of 120 dwarves, most* of which are happy. I'd say that's a pretty good accomplishment for a day otherwise wasted. *most as in more than 50%

Re: The Lounge
I need to play DF some more... I really like it but never got into it, although I know everything is order to play. I think I'm going to do that this break.

Re: The Lounge
Started playing Dwarf Fortress again after a long hiatus two weeks ago or so. So far I've flooded two fortresses with magma. Ghosts + a doomsday lever =/= a good idea

Asklar wrote: I haven't ever played Saints Row. But since I know GTA from before, it has to be a copy. SR1 was basically a poor generic copy of GTA IMO. SR2 was already unique and it had a lot of fun things which set it aside from GTA but it kind of lacked polish and the mechanics weren't the greatest. SR3 was pretty fun, unique art style, nice amount of silliness mixed with a cohesive if unimpressive story, lots of customization for your cars and characters, lots of side quests which are often absurd but enjoyable (there's a Japanese-esque game show you can go on known as Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax, where you kill people in a run-the-gauntlet style challenge; there's throwing yourself into traffic for insurance fraud money; there's stealing cars and tank rampages and oh my), I got a lot of play out of it and it feels very nice to play mechanically. Characters are quick and motion is smooth, cars are fast and nitrous is abundant. So yeah, really fun. SR4 was just batshit and it's not even comparable to GTA but it's really fun too. Oh yeah so Razer's giving away a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ and you guys should enter (if you're over 18) because it takes all of 1 minute. Also you should use this referral code because it's mine and I love you.

Re: The Lounge
I would figure it would say US only under the eligibility it was, but it only says you have to be 18 or older. It does mention to see "Additional Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions," I think this may have been during the signup phase so I probably just ignored the entire thing. With that said it's sponsored by 2K and they're based in Australia, and Razer itself is pretty international, so I would hope that it is available that anyone of legal age.
