Welp, you sort of beat me to it.

Originates from Richard, yeah. Not exactly though. I'll let you figure out the rest.

How exactly does ♥♥♥♥ come from Richard.

Also, why is Bill a nickname for William.

Who comes up with these.

I like cats, but we can't have one because my mom is super allergic to them.

Cats are leeches.

They aren't even that strong companion animals. I get that they're fluffy and hunt vermin, but dogs are far superior when it comes to practical use, companionship and the history of animal domestication.

Post Re: The Lounge
but cats PURR

dogs can basically only pant, whine and bark you in the face

The feeling of having a fat, purring cat on ones lap is a very nice feeling indeed. Also, from my experience, cats are a bit less needy than dogs (although obviously they still demand that you feed them, all pets do), although dogs are less likely to headbutt you while you're gaming and then trample your keyboard while you're reeling. The logical side of me says that both animals have their merits, but given that i am slightly afraid of dogs, i'm more of a cat person. :U

What are you talking about?
I'm talking about pets, I'm not sure what practicality and the history of animal domestication have to do with it.
Also, cats are plenty companionable. Not all of them, but they definitely are.
