Re: The Lounge if youre looking to return your faith in game devs, dont look to centration
they have a 30~ person dev team and yet the game itself is barely past the stage of "open spacy doors in empty rooms sim, with some lights!!" after 2 years and SEVERAL funding campaigns, including a kickstarter and i think 2 or even 3 indigogos
they just want money from the SS13 crowd but have nothing to show for it
if you want a good ss13 remake, go for robustgames' version.

Re: The Lounge Welp, centration alpha is not ss13, but the point still stands: it's mostly riding on acclaim, and no one has really put in the dedication, or commitment to take the helm, and develop the game.
Good to hear that someone is doing along that line.
