Scratch that, typing this up on phone. It's very, very important.


For the sake of the entire plot, the RtD and all other things in this RtD, including it's continuation, I am rolling this back to the point where the note appeared. The plot was going along splendidly until then. Then, I threw it all away.

I did this roll in the late night, and did that dialogue in the morning over five or so hours nearly. In the full knowledge that I am tired beyond belief, I am rolling this thread backwards.

This means that everything past the point of the note has not occured. Consider it an alternate universe if you want. Or a source of extra lore. Characters and events from it you might see later on in the correct plotflow, but otherwise it doesn't exist.

I must deeply apologize for this inconvenience. I've got the taste of bile in my throat thanks to the disgust at which I have towards how I threw my plot into the bin, so I am begging for your forgiveness to make this right. I will give each of you players a free skill level in any skill you want, even your racial trait.

So, once again, I apologise for the inconvenience but with the entire plot thrown into the trash by one stupid ♥♥♥♥ mistake on my part, I have no choice but to roll this story back.

So, here we are plot wise. I seriously dropped the ball before but I promise not to do so again. Everything before this point is still canon, but after the note point, nada.


"I *am* death, just as I am entropy. Do you truly think that it is in the nature of life to grow old and to die?"

"The correct answer is it isn't. I am the balance in the system, the final check that maintains the cycle. Even without my existence the wounded would never die, the starving and poisoned never getting their relief."


You poke and rub your chest to make sure it is all as it should be. He has completely repaired your armour, too, and there is not even a scratch on you. You make a plain, average face as you look at the titanic dragon.

"Your gods are the same ones that watched the world be destroyed and remade a hundred times over by our wars. Together, they might be able to fight me equally. I am the last of the Elemental Dragons, the ones with *true* power. If I visit the resting site of each of the other Dragons, I would absorb their power. Death, Life, Air, Fire, Water and Earth united under one control."

"Your gods would stand little chance. As little as you do now."

"Four minutes."

Now I am going back to bed because I desperately need sleep. As I said, let me repair my ♥♥♥♥ up.

Okay cool now I can break Amelia.

Face Alaris now, with a crazed glee in my eyes.

"Show me, Alaris! Show me your might, and show me the might of my gods! Go to Terrisar!"

DM NOTE : The story is now going the way it was originally planned. This is a plot critical moment, hence why I needed to do the rollback. Doing it the otherway would've thrown away several weeks work in an instant.

You go through your life in reflection as you burst out laughing and stare at Alaris. He doesn't respond in anyway till your second sentence.

A note flys through the air towards you. Alaris doesn't seem to be able to see it. You catch it and again, Alaris doesn't react to your movement.

The note says, Play for time, another thirty seconds or so. I've got a plan, whatever you do, keep him here. CM

After some thought, Alaris says, "You wish to see Terrisar burn, do you? Then let us depart. It won't take more than twenty seconds of your remaining four minutes." he extends his hand for you to step onboard.

EDIT : good god I feel so terrible about this thread. I'm going to be absent for a little while. I need time to think.

WHOA! I completely missed that last roll. No wonder I had no idea what was going on. Sorry for not actioning earlier, thought my train with polearms action was still up.
