Official DRLChat was operated by data/some mods for a while until weasel was hired, who decided he didn't like the culture of it and had it closed down. Several unofficial DRLChats were operated, the main one by daman, but they slowly petered out. Hence why I don't know if any still exist.
DuhForum irc was originally #lonelyheartsbar on Rizon when I made DuhForum and decided to run an IRC server for funzies but then got knocked upside the head about downtime and general dicketry, and so moved to Rizon. After a while Dauss wanted the pony people out (he came up with the channel name and was very attached to it) and I was one of the pony people, so I moved to #lonelyden on Rizon and people followed that wanted to and that's how things are today.
