Re: The Lounge It's appropriation. People are using it and tumblr as an outlet for their obsession with being special. Because of this, even non-LGBT people are clinging to it. It's LGBT, not "LGBT and people who like them". People outside the spectrum just don't get it
Intersex doesn't even refer to orientation or gender
And asexuality is a lack of orientation
Queer is fine, its a more broad term to describe all the speshul snowflakes

Re: The Lounge Asexuality is on a different scale than the normal lgbt stuff. There's axes that you can be placed on, how much you feel attracted to men, how much you feel attracted to women, etc, and then there's the "how much sex do I want to have" axis, and asexuals are on the "nothx" side of that (Though it varies, some masturbate and some don't for example). Sexual orientation and identity is complicated ♥♥♥♥.
EDIT: To be clear there's way more axes than the ones I mentioned, I just threw some out for examples.
