So I had a banded Dragonite and a scarfed Chandelure, both healthy except for some rocks damage. All my opponent had left was a scarfed Genesect. He locks himself into Thunderbolt on my Dnite, doing about a third, but hes scores the paralysis (10% chance) but it's no big since I'm about to destroy him with the banded Fire Punch (Genesect is 4x weak to fire). Of course I get fully paralyzed (25%) but I know I can live another hit and still kill him. But of course, he takes this chance to crit me (10%). It's alright as my Chandelure can take a hit and roast him with a Fire Blast but then I miss (15%). A 0.0375% chance of all this happening, but it did. The matches preceding and following this game were the same (though not quite as bad). I would be winning by a large margin with an answer for everything and back up plans if my primary measures failed, but still compound misfortune destroyed me...
