Re: The Lounge My top four are probably Groundhog Day, Back to the Future, The Princess Bride, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Breakfast Club. I've seen a lot of what you might call "better" movies, ones that had a greater emotional impact, ones with better acting or camera work or a more sophisticated message, but these are the ones that stick with me and are some of the few movies I've seen several times over.
To toss out a bunch of other random ones I liked Gone With The Wind, Never Let Me Go, Stoker, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, anything containing Jackie Chan, Ip Man, District 9, Stranger Than Fiction, Timeslip, Up in the Air, Black Dynamite. It really depends on my mood like sometimes I want to watch something kinda philosophical or some great romance but a lot of the time I really enjoy stuff like The Fast and the Furious or one of the many shoot em ups I've enjoyed but can't specifically recall. |
