Re: The Lounge
You don't get sexually frustrated when you're asexual. From experience I'd say many don't even masturbate. When that's the case, they simply don't have an urge. It isn't a difficult concept to grasp.
It's like drawing a line from the center of a circle outwards. Maybe if it's pointed to the left you like boys, if it's pointed to the right you like girls, and if it's top or bottom you're bisexual. Sexuality/asexuality is just how long the line is -- how hetero/homo/bi you are.
And I'm just talking about opposite ends of the spectrum, Miggles. Some people are more sexual than others, that doesn't mean the people who are less sexual are necessarily asexual. That also doesn't mean they're a slut. Like I said, it's not binary. I myself am somewhere between the two.

Correct. In your example, I would be quite close to the centre of the circle indeed.
I have absolutely zero interest or desire to well, bone. Or other bone like tasks. Infact, I would say I am quite close to being aromantic. I don't like relationships whatsoever. Friends are fine, but going beyond that? No thank you.

Some people don't choose to live a sexless life Some never have the know-how and blow it Being asexual in practice and not philosophy

That's non-celibacy. [wikipedia]

Re: The Lounge
That refers to abstinence, or the dogmatic choosing not to
You are thinking celibacy; non-celibacy is the \practical\ result of celibacy.

thats a cute tattoo. i don't know if the spelling varies by region or something, but here 'flies' is the correct spelling for both the insect and the act of flying; the word 'flys' literally goes against everything i learned in elementary english classes lmao. i used to not like the thought of getting a tattoo but im starting to open up to it. if i ever got one it would have to be purely meaningful, it would probably be pertaining to animals.
by the way, is anybody here even remotely interested in animal symbolism or is that too cheesy of a thing to be looking for discussion about here...
I'm here, and yes, that seems like an interesting discussion~
The one thing on my mind is the Bellowing Nautilus, which comes from an old idyllic clan that I was a part of in the past.

Being a virgin =/= being asexual.

Re: The Lounge
asexuals just dont want to have sex its that simple they just dont want it it isnt that they choose to, or that they dislike it, or that they dont know whether they like it or not they simply dont want to have sex
i think theres a lot of different reasons people can be asexual- i believe some choose to be that way, and others just dont feel the same urges whether its for a biological/medical (low hormones perhaps, i dunno) reason or they just grew up without interest. myself, i just happen to be capable of parthenogenesis.
please dont quote this if you respond because i plan to delete it later:
lmao.. im already embarrassed of bringing up animal energies but ive been reading quite a bit about it recently. a lot of animals remind me of robby, i think crow would fit him above all. myself and a friend of mine once discussed dhole behaviour though and she pointed out that they also have tendencies similar to robby. im having a more difficult time figuring out what could possibly be my totem but im looking at seahorses and red pandas- and less seriously herons and deer. i think it will be easier to figure it out for myself once im in a more stable environment..
edit: @foa, aaahh thats such a cute hooter. looks like an eagle owl, judging by the fact that its in syria i guess its a eurasian one
