Re: The Lounge
Right now I'm trying to talk an old friend out of smoking because she's pregnant, but all the comments are just ♥♥♥♥ enablists and ignorant piles of ♥♥♥♥ who keep telling her it's fine.

or I need to buy ibuprofin in bulk. I ran out and I feel like I'm having nails rammed into my head. It's really bad. Quitting cigarettes was really horrible too, but I'm really prone to headaches and I've been drinking coffee much longer. I transitioned from regular cigarettes to pipe tobacco cigarettes (rollies). There's significantly less physical dependence. I had no withdrawals when I eventually quit a year later. (Took a month of planning and contemplation to quit. I waited a year because I actually enjoyed pipe tobacco) Mackerel wrote: Right now I'm trying to talk an old friend out of smoking because she's pregnant, but all the comments are just ♥♥♥♥ enablists and ignorant piles of ♥♥♥♥ who keep telling her it's fine. god I hate trailer trash. Actually, getting someone to quit smoking if they already were smoking during the pregnancy damages the baby much more than smoking would. Getting her to stop is putting the baby at an even greater risk of death due to withdrawals. The only way to properly handle this situation is to have her slowly wean off using less and less tobacco. Cold turkey kills

Re: The Lounge
I haven't been able to feel my left hand at all for nearly a week now. I can still move the fingers, but I can't otherwise feel anything with the hand. It doesn't feel pain or the texture of an object. It's just numb.
Ah well.

(grumbles at self for being such a slacker)

Re: The Lounge
It usually lingers around for a few hours after waking up, and slowly fades during the day. I usually eat some rye bread with cheese and some form of meat on it before going to sleep, alongside some yoghurt. My breakfast is usually very similar to that, with the addition of whatever fruits we happen to have available.
