Take the arrow back, cleaning it on the man's shirt/tunic/whatever garments he happens to be wearing. Next, loot the place. Cash first, then little stuff (rings, earrings, etc.) Go for magical small items, then the ones with gemstones, the more valuable the better. Next, magical objects that are not small; do not exceed my carry limit, nor grab anything bigger than a necklace that would be obvious. If I see a magical weapon or some such, notify me, but do not pick it up. Next, look for a safe or a back room. After looting, if I do not find a weapon, back room, or other suspicious thing, get the hell out of there!

It will require a magic gem that will provide a stat boost or spell/ability for the weapon, or both. The quality of the gem influences the stat points and/or ability limits of the spell.
