i consciously decided to start typing like this at some point and i dont see how it really causes problems with comprehension, i consider my posts pretty legible. i'm sorry but unless it really becomes a problem amongst people i just prefer typing like this.

We mostly care about readability, so if you make your sentences of a reasonable length and use the right words in the right places it's not a big deal.
Some people take it further because they see people complaining about other people's (very unreadable) posts and think it's the "in" thing to do.

I really don't see how "dont" is unreadable. That's a stupid thing to stress over, coming from someone who always types contractions properly.
Although, there's the other end of the spectrum; people with grammar so bad, you have to wonder if it was some kind of joke.
