>Land south of the huge mountain near the lake, wake up 3000 people from cryosleep. The speakers say, as the leader speaks the words:
"Congratulations people, if you're hearing this, You're part of the initial team of explorers and scientists to set foot on the newly discovered habitual planet! The FTL drive worked better than expected! Now, the ideal landing site is south of a moutain near a lake, yes, a lake, there is water here. it's yet to be seen if it is drinkable or not, but we can easily filter it. Our first step should be to set up a workable infrastructure before waking up many of your fellow workers to help with this maiden voyage."
>"first step is easy, have the Advanced Mainframe take the 5 ATV-R vehicles and scout the terrain near the landing site for possibly fertile ground to plant food."
>"The second thing is to start unloading supplies to build some homes, to account for more people getting out of suspension. Make sure to consult the Advanced mainframe for the ideal setup for these houses for a better colony infrastructure."
"we're making a huge scientific leap here people, lets not waste such a opportunity that us lucky few were given."

If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean? Do you mean just defrost 2000 or so people and send them off with some supplies?
Looking forward to rolling again
By the way, I'm still working on the numbers for production. I'm thinking that each farmer for instance can produce 0.1 units, so the automated former would be able to outright produce 10 units of food. Hmmm. Gonna have to do some thinking on consumption rates.

I mean wake them up, and send them to the center of the continent, with supplies and the possibility of getting nomnomnomed by alien predators.

Ah, okay. I guess you are gonna want to give them some guns, too?

Well, it's pretty much mandatory, they still have a chance to get eaten if said predatory alien is huge, or resistant to small arms fire, or can overwhelm them

Re: Roll to Dodge : Destiny
This action comes to you from vegas, on an iphone.
> Launch Comms Satellite and land.
1> Defrost 4,000.
"Welcome to Planet, citizens. We have a long road ahead of us, but together we'll achieve greatness! Now get moving. We can't just leave those 26,000 waiting."
2> Set up prefab houses.
3> Send ATVs to scout for nearby resources.
Assume the president's office is by the mainframe. He constantly consults it.

Re: Roll to Dodge : Destiny
If people don't mind the reminder, it's a good idea to launch your communications satellites before landing the craft :p
Don't worry, it's a minor action considering all you are doing is launching something.

Five Thousand [5000] Diameters of One-Fifty [150] to Two Hundred [200] of primarily First and Second Wealths will be Thawed. You are to, at first, assess the situation in the wake of the Two Advanced Formers, and to assist with the start up of Agriculture, and penetration Downwards.
The air on this foreign planet is semi-breathable with filtration.

Fun fact, the Helmseer has a Diameter of 215 or something.

Sorry guys, there's this thing called work, and I need to go to it in order to have money for silly things like food.
