"I am here to apprehend someone, and who I am isn't important."
Try to interact with the smoke, maybe psionically.

CaveCricket48 (Raphael) [4]:
Combining the air throughout the snow with flame Chakra, you rapidly expand the air, and direct it into a concentrated pillar, pointing up at the chests of each Wendigo.
It does about as much as a blast of hot air, predictably. Maybe a human would have been staggered, but these are the size of polar bears, it'll take a lot to take them down. Meanwhile, the left Wendigo that you speared has gotten the spears out of its legs and side, and...
It's regenerating. Oh, that's bad.
What's even worse is that you're getting tired. All this Chakra usage is taking its toll, and, confirming it with a quick squeeze, you cannot feel your fingers.

Character:

Ociamarru (Vadim Ivanov) [8]:
Shaking off the rest of your clouded thoughts, you answer the voice.
"I am here to apprehend someone, and who I am isn't important."
Your thoughts flicker to your mission, capturing the Horseman Valentina. You were supposed to capture War, but that went to hell, and he ended up dead. Your team isn't allowed to make a stupid mistake like that again.
You try to reach out Psionically, but any constructs you form are immediately swept away by the smoke.

Character:

Emogotsaone (Jamal) [3]:
You scramble around, trying to get your knife out, but the ground in front of you sorta, explodes into hot air, and it surprises you enough to fumble your weapon away. The Wendigo in front of you snorts, reaches down, grabs your head, and lifts you up into the air in front of it.
Yes. It grabbed your ENTIRE head, and is holding you up in the air by your head. You get the feeling that it's do or die time. Literally.

Character:

Izen (Theron) [7]:
Well... the person standing there looks... feminine, you suppose. It sure has long smoke-hair.

Character:

CrazyMLC (Maria Crazer) [9]:
You watch.
Both the prisoner's and Valentina's mouths move silently, exchanging words through her Technokinesis.
Valentina's power is single minded, but immense. She can control any technology in pretty much any way she desires, and her mastery of Technokinesis extends as far as to give her a limited form of Electrokinesis as well.
Most of the time, she meditates to block any imaging systems from seeing into the region, to protect the group from prying eyes. However, when she's needed she can come out of her trance to fight, or more scarily, do what she's doing now.
With that electrode setup, she can literally treat the brain as a computer, and scan through a person's thoughts.
Valentina makes for a terrifying but inspiring leader.

Character:

JJA79 (Rose Fors) [2]:
You head over to Valentina's tent, but without a prisoner or a reason, the guards refuse to let you in.
"Sorry, but Valentina is already meeting with someone. You'll have to wait."
"I brought the prisoner to camp. Come on, just let me through."
"If you brought him, then why didn't you carry him in?"

You-
...
You actually don't have a good reason for that.

Character:

Game Events:

Raphael and Jamal are at "C,7".
Theron is in "E,7".
Maria, Vadim, and Rose are at "?,?".

"I...uh...anyone else having a hard time seeing?"
Attempt to access Theron's pyrokinesis and cause a little chaos.

Where there's smoke, there's fire, after all. I'm correct in assuming that I don't know what's happening to me, exactly?

You're certainly confused, although you remember being beaten unconscious by those two girls.
