You head towards the spire at a steady pace, without anything impeding your progress. As you get closer to the spire, you start hearing the sounds of battle nearby.

Conditions :
- Burned Face
- Missing Eyebrows
- Dazed (-2 actions, ends next turn)

> Mist: "A mess, that's what."

"Last town we were at, Corrupted and non-Corrupted bodies everywhere, she was sitting pretty in the middle of it. She's probably exhausted, maybe hurt."

The soldier lets out a sigh.

???: "We're going to run out of capable men and women if things keep up like this. Anyways, that blonde lady that carried Tara off is our best healer. You should see her if you need any sort of healing. We also have some supplies we can spare if you need some."

He starts heading back towards the gate.

Conditions :
- Whirlwind Armor (+2 Physical Actions)
-- Solid Left Shoulder Piece (Cannot move left arm)
- Dislocated/Broken Left Shoulder (Cannot use left arm)




(Ragdollmaster)
Gustaf Anorak

> ???: "Garm, distract it! Feiar, try to hit its head!"

You see a massive wolf-like creature in armor run to the dragon's flank and beat his sword on his shield (because he had those too).

???: "OI! I THINK YOU'RE MISSING AN EYE!"

The dragon turns to face the wolf and tries to slam him with a scaly fist, but the wolf jumps back in time to avoid the attack.

"JUST GIVE IT UP YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD!"

Powering up Firebrand, you run at the dragon's left wing and slash at the membrane, slicing it open. The green dragon lets out a roar and turns to face you, but staggers when Kyros hits its right shoulder with a spinning-slashing attack.

The dragon appears to be dazed, moving sluggishly and moving its wings weakly.

- Highlander (Cannot die, Negative modifiers disregarded) (Ends in 2 turns)
- Torn Left Upper Arm (Can't use Left arm)
- Bruised (-1 Movement)
- Dazed (-2 actions, ends in next turn)

Gustaf then dashes towards the dragon's left wing and slashes apart the fragile membrane, and as the dragon turns to face the new attacker, you take the opportunity to charge towards the beast's right shoulder and unleash a Hurricane Blade.

With your sword held out and your entire body spinning rapidly, you can feel your sword at first merely sliding across the dragon's tough scales, but as you pick up speed you start to see pieces of green flying and then blood as your sword manages to break through the armor and maim the flesh.

After a few good spins, you grind to a stop and see that you turned a nice chunk of shoulder into mush, and the dragon appears dazed as well.

(Harzipan)
Isaac
[ 3 ] = 3
> "Garm, distract it! Feiar, try to hit its head!"

Feiar fires another crossbow bolt and misses the dragon entirely.

Garm runs up to the dragon's flank and beats his sword on his shield.

Garm: "OI! I THINK YOU'RE MISSING AN EYE!"

The dragon turns to face Garm and tries to crush him with a large, clawed hand, but Garm jumps back in time to avoid getting turned intp a pancake.

???: "JUST GIVE IT UP YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD!"

With the other human attacking the dragon's left wing and a sword-wielding chirop hacking at the right shoulder, you run around to the rear of the dragon and climb up as close as you can to the base of the tail and plant Sanguis into the dragon's flesh.

Immediately you notice the dragon's movements slowly, as if it were dazed.

> You ignore the battle sounds and run in the direction towards the spire. It's a tiring run, but you cover a fair amount of distance. passing the last building between you and the spire, you find that the spire is in the middle of a massive grassy clearing in the forest of towers. There are scores of bodies littering the clearing, and various earthen formations create a non-manmade-looking wall around the base of the spire.

The spire itself looks like a massive stone pillar rising from the ground, the outside surface decorated with balconies, windows, and carvings.

Conditions :
- Burned Face
- Missing Eyebrows
- Dazed (-2 actions, ends next turn)

???: "Outpost!? You must not be from around here. Do they have outposts the size of large cities where you come from?"

You look at the massive wall again. It looks like it's large enough to contain a thousand outposts.

???: "This is the city of Vranhal, if that rings any bells. And I'm just your run-of-the-mill soldier. Well, I've fought quite a few battles and I've still got fight in me, so maybe I'm a bit hardier. But I'm no one special."

You, Mist, and Aucupe follow the soldier into the city wall, with the massive portcullis closing behind the three of you. Numerous of other soldiers and mages idle, mock-fight, or drill in the grassy plains near the gate's entrance, and scores of tents create miniature villages here and there. The soldier leads you and your allies to a large white tent not too far off, the flaps hanging loose for anyone to simply walk in.

???: "I suspect that the blonde lady you saw earlier would have some things to ask you, and she can heal you up quickly as well. I... guess you can just walk on in? Just don't be noisy."

Conditions :

> You run around the dragon counter-clockwise, but once you get to its tail, you find the dragon standing up on its back legs with its tail raised too high for you to reach Sanguis.

The dragon raises its left arm above its head and then falls down, slamming its fist hard into the ground in front of it. The ground breaks apart from the force of the blow, creating a powerful quake around the beast that knocks you off of your feet and onto an uncomfortable bed of jagged earth.

The dragon starts to raise itself higher, and you quickly wrench your blade out to keep from losing it. As your sword leaves the dragon, a burst of blood spills out and douses you with large drops of red fluid. It smells rather odd for blood.

Now on its hind legs, the dragon raises its left arm up before dropping its entire body, slamming the ground with its fist with heavy weight behind it. The ground turns jagged as it breaks apart, a powerful quake tearing through the area. You're thrown back from a kinetic blast, but you easily land back on your feet without serious injury.

Ascend the dragon's back until I reach the wing-base, where the two wings connect. Once I reach an acceptable spot, fire a bolt from my crossbow into the beast's spine.
