Re: Art Dump
Superb drawings as usual madmax. I can't get enough of that crosshatching style, wish I had those kind of skills. You may have all of my jelly; take it, now! Real nice hoers drawing matty, I feel like it's legs are kind of short though (compare to length of neck and body). Here's a small dump of stuff I've worked on recently Tried creating some action like pose from imagination here, but decided I didn't like it halfway through. The perspective of the gun and body look inconsistent (not even considering the weight of a weapon that big)... Don't know why I gave her a giant railgun anyways, I hate those kind of things. :p

Also the shading is awesome, i can't quite fathom how you make it so subtle while still conveying so much depth! Also, great job making it look furry without completely plastering it with lines, i love that effect (as in what you've done). I mean ♥♥♥♥, your art style basically has everything i like, barring gigantic bushy eyebrows! Oh! I didn't notice this, thanks!

Re: Art Dump
I'm no expert on pixel art, but to my eyes those look too noisy and repetitive. Due to my lack of experience with animation and drawing water I can't really say what I'd change exactly, but maybe try and create larger, wave-looking patterns of smooth highlights or something like that? Maybe lengthen or put a pause in the animation if possible to make it seem a bit calmer too, if that's possible.

Re: Art Dump
WATER TIIIIIIIIIIIILES I think i mostly agree with Adriaan, the super shiny bits seem a bit TOO shiny, if that's even a thing. But, i still like it, it does look quite watery when one thinks about how a lake looks in sunlight with a mild breeze. c: @matty: Oh it's okay, nobody ever notices me anyways............. :< Haha, kidding, always happy to compliment on great art! meanwhile here's something that spawned from another "i can't sleep right now" night it's a plant i ♥♥♥♥ up the stem though

Re: Art Dump
I laughed at the nam part more than I should've. It gave me mental images of the plant being in the Vietnam war for some reason :p Also, I have to agree with the others, the water seems a little too shiny in my opinion. I'm no expert on spriting, but why not take a look at the way Transport Tycoon did it? The game was isometric, yes, but I think the water looked pretty good.

It's really a mushroom person, but without it it'd die so yeah, energy dome.

Re: Art Dump
I hope this is for a game of some sort, I'd love to see mushroom armies fighting with that level of animation
