Spawncamping is terrible.
I don't even use sticky bombs, I don't find them useful enough. It's much easier to just lob grenades, and if you can hit them directly you'll kill them. Also, it's always fun to see a scout trying to dodge your nades and getting killed by a direct hit, or landing on one.

Has anyone else noticed that the Amount of Whine-kiddies has risen after TF2 went F2P?

I haven't played in a while but I like Backburner/Stock + Reserve Shooter or Degreaser + Flare Gun and then maybe like stock axe or Powerjack/Homewrecker for melee. I don't like the Axtinguisher much and I especially don't like having nothing to hit other Pyros.

I'm down for playing with you guys, though I warn you that my friend gave me a samurai hat so I have to play Zatoichi Demoknight.

I haven't used the regular sticky launcher in a long time. Sometimes I just ♥♥♥♥ around with the stickyjumper and apply critpan to the enemy snipers, but usually I just go with the Loch-n-Load, the Chargin' Targe and the Frying Pan. The Pyros never see it coming.
Also, the Loch-n-Load is sogood for destroying sentry nests it's not even funny. Crit lochs? ♥♥♥♥ MENTAL, man.

I understand the tactics behind the flare gun, but you're so helpless against other pyros it's not even funny. Usually I go with the standard shotgun. It deals surprisingly large amounts of damage.

Even though Demoman is my favourite class, I play Soldier pretty often. Standard launcher, gunboats and the Market Gardener. If we're down to the last point on cp_steel, I switch for the Beggar's Bazooka, though. It's amazingly good in the right situations.
That said, that's one of the situations where the Loch-n-Load excels. Just today I got 6 frags just by shooting 4 pipes into a mass of people capping the last point on steel. Feels good, man. And airshotting scouts is always fun.

oh and gunslinger + regular shotgun ftw
3 shots just ain't enough, man

EDIT: Oh, and for medic, I always go with the Blutsauger and the Übersaw. My medigun depends on the situation. Crits are great for killing the whole enemy team on attack/defend when the match starts.

Are you using matchmaking or browsing servers?
Never do matchmaking, it's ♥♥♥♥. Find a few good servers and go to them. I like Axl's TF2, although it can be empty at times. Regular maps and silly as hell maps, with a voting map thing. Cool dudes all around.

My ten year old brother plays TF2 and Gmod now, and he tries to say witty things but it ends up coming out completely stupid, and I just want to hit him.

The amount of annoying kids is still relatively low compared to most other videogame systems.

And ♥♥♥♥ matchmaking, I use server browser and favorite the top of the barrel.

I rarely use the pipe launcher as demo, I use stickies offensively instead, since I don't have great aim with the launcher. Offensive stickies are great to the point that I'd say they're OP.
The Hitman's Heatmaker is a good sniper rifle, because it incentivises headshots without majorly penalizing you for not getting them like the Bazaar Bargain. Jarate wacka all day mate
Pyro for me is degreaser, airblasts are best. Deflecting projectiles is way easier to get kills at range than the flare gun since they do more damage. I wish I still had my Attendant so I could get the Gas Jockey set bonus tho. Dat speed ;n;
I play on STAR_'s server mainly but I can't find other servers anyway since my server browser is broken and hardly ever loads a server ever.

I find it best to play on servers where people are better than me. That way I learn how to be a better player.

This is how I got decent at CS, played on a few "serious" clan servers and watched what people did, learned 2 shoot, etc. It was kind of brutal but after 20 hours I started to get the hang of it.

According to the people I've played with, I'm good at GG in CSGO.
I guess I'm a decent CS player, somehow. Not great by any stretch, but not bad.

CSGO is a huge improvement in the series, and a modernized 1.6, in my opinion.
CSS is still great for what it is, and I enjoy it very much.
