Though with all due respect, you're not being particularly polite either. See "i don't like that show" (subjective statement) versus "that show is awful" (stated as objective fact), the latter of which being your exact words. There is a very distinct line between being honest and sounding like a ♥♥♥♥. Honestly (haha geddit), at least to my inner ear, you end up crossing that line fairly often, even though it may not be intentional. Although you probably don't give anything remotely resembling a ♥♥♥♥ about my approval, you should probably know that i don't hold people who can't/refuse to speak in at least a neutral tone very highly in regard. I'm not saying everything should be rainbows and lollipops (even though that'd be pretty amusing), i just don't think there's any reason whatsoever to be harsh when unprovoked. Someone liking a show that you don't does not count for adequate provocation.

I've never eaten moose before. I thought it was one of those animals that you'd only really eat if you went and killed it yourself. Do they have it in like, restaurants and stuff?

I don't think we have moose in restaurants, but my dad goes hunting every fall. Our freezer is filled with the stuff.
