Moderate opinion time: Anonymous do some very good work when they set their minds to it, but they also have a penchant for melodrama that I find somewhat annoying.
I guess that melodrama varies from case to case, based on whichever people have adopted the moniker at the time.

Laughing at what these folks do is not the same as disagreeing with their cause. I disagree with plenty of their methods, but I agree in general with their motives and so support their causes that employ reasonable methods. I laugh at them a lot too.

So i only just now found out what CISPA even is. Oh 'murica, your antics both amuse and terrify me. :U
Also, if they really intend to keep watch on every persons internet usage, they're probably going to need the best porn filter ever. Not to avoid it, but to save it for personal use after work, because THERE AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS A TOO LARGE PORN FOLDER. Also, they might want to automatically remove some of the weirder things from their eyesight. For all the good things that the internet does, there's almost an equally large quantity of things that will horribly scar your soul, possibly forever. And i'm not just talking things that people get off to, although you can be almost entirely certain that somewhere, someone is seeing that, and that someone is HARD.

It's easy to say that about people with differing views. Simply showing dissatisfaction and/or contempt for something doesn't make people cunts.

See, Mackerel is telling me that I express friendship-breaking pontifications in normal conversation (or regularly), and is telling me to leave DRL for my dissatisfaction and contempt for Anonymous.
