No need to resort to ad homenim. Healthy brain function advocacy shouldn't be treated as a pejorative, and frankly I'm disappointed in you for using it as such.

I don't need to resort to ad homenim, I just enjoy doing so. You're wrong, and you're stuck in your incorrect belief, so I'm not gonna change your mind. I'm done before mod action happens.

Edit: This went too far. My bad, guy.

Calling for mod action would be ironic, seeing as you resorted to ad homenim.

I quit smoking this week, and withdrawals are minimal. I truly understand what Ian McKaye sang about in Minor Threat now.

I can't play FPS games, they make me ill. God damn simulator sickness. But I don't like sprite graphics that much, either.

So I avoid both by playing Grand Strategy and 4x games, with a dash of TBS, TBT and a dash of RTT. With the occasional RTS, sometimes.

I don't think there's any game type that I don't like, are there any really obscure ones you guys can think of? I'm genuinely scared by the fact can't think of a game type where I don't like a few titles in.

Do you like Hearts of Iron? It's Grand Strategy. You might like it.

Also, obscure genres?

How about life simulation? As in, hardcore life simulations?

Like this game.

The entire game revolves around feeding your children.

What about Life and Death 2? I actually like this one, but god, is it a hard game.

That's the easiest surgery in the game, and god damn, do I fail with the drill. Every damn time I use the thing I drill to far. Could never tell the pitch change :s

match 3 is the bane of my existence

Otherwise... I suppose most genres do have their lovable diamonds. I mean, i prefer action games and such, but there are games within that genre that are just flat out terrible. It's really more down to the game itself than its genre/type, so DO NOT DESPAIR CITIZEN.

I'm not particularly into sports games, unless you count wii sports resort.

Sports games can be fun. Mirrors Edge, AaAaA!, Tony Hawks Pro Skater, and 1080 are a few of my faves. Though Mirrors Edge breaks past the "sports" barrier with an intriguing dystopian plot, and linearity.
