I don't know about you, but I get a constant barrage of awesome from RTT games and grand strategy ones. Regular RTS, not so much.

Also, that part about the drawings. MC2 is sort of like X-Com where you start to feel for your soldiers. Instead, you start to feel for your pilots. They get medals after every mission and ribbons and everything, and it is sad when that pilot who has a ton of medals and been with you from the start of the game gets killed in a horrific missile barrage.



God, this game needed a sequel I know the source was released, but no one has bothered with working on the graphics engine.

But as you said, not what you are looking for. Hmmm. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, unfortunately.

Guys, you should totally get Company of Heroes 2 when it's released. Don't pre-order it, though.
Been playing the beta with a bunch of people, and it's a blast.

Check out Hawken, Non. It's arena/TDM and some other objective based gamemode with pretty sweet style. Can't say I've played it myself, and apparantly it is a little bit bare feature wise. It's free to play though and might be worth trying a bit just for the pretties.

God damn, I am so tempted to install Heavy Gear again, but the second despises my graphics card and the first needs dosbox, I think? I always removed the fire suppression system from the cockpit to make room for a bigger targeting system. It did bite me in the ass several times, though. Mostly when the cockpit set on fire. It had a great soundtrack. I've had some very dramatic battles in that game, thanks to the music. I'd rank the music up there with Battle Isle - The Andosia War, which is also a game that I never completed the the tech tree in.



Also, holy crap, just found out a third heavy gear game is in the works. It just shot its way into my instabuy list.

I'm learning pretty fast, BTW. Started 2 days ago and I already know how to make a very simple page.

Gimmick sites how kids pretend to learn to program, and subsequently drop programming. If you really want to learn anything, you should get a book on the programming language you intend to learn.

It's true. There's really nothing more to cover on this than to get a book. Really, they're all free at your city library.
