What kind of Jazz gets played? Anything avant-garde or worthwhile? I'm not as into jazz relative to the rock and electronic music in my library; I still dabble a little bit in Zappa, Waits, and Bohren. Ironically I listen to more jazz-rap and jazz-punk.

Zappas jazz-fusion, so not really traditional jazz. Tom Waits early stuff is closer to traditional jazz though, with his trademark blues style. Also if you want the same kind of music as goa, but minimalistic, you'd probably enjoy the psybient micro-genre. Acts like Shpongle, Younger Brother, their whole label.
A Tribe Called Quest is a good example of jazz-rap.

I'd definitely say Busdriver has some things in common with Jazz.

Death Grips releases a set of cryptic videos showcasing a music video of a track on their previous album, and perhaps hinting another ARG (alternate reality game), and collab. D x DG = Dalek x Death Grips?
Dalek is an older experimental/industrial hip hop group known for being a precursor to the much more experimental and noisy sound of Death Grips

Speaking of 80's stuff
Here's an electro house artist who is obsessed with 80's thriller film soundtracks

He released a new album last month, pretty good

This is one of my favorite songs. The singer, Pino Donaggio, also happens to be an epic composer.

Very nice, their vocal style, the musical style of their songs and their general energy feels a lot like Machinae Supremacy without the chiptunes, which is great in my books.

I'm loving Diablo Swing Orchestra
I have no idea what their proper genre-classification is because I get about 1 sub-genre in before being lost in a minefield of sub-cultures and nonsense.
That being said, there's some swing, a bit of orchestra and a touch of diablo I suppose.

and some rock feels & ♥♥♥♥

Avant-Garde Metal with prog influence, or bands that sound like Between the Buried and Me and Maudlin of the Well.
