Accelerate the ankles of the beast so they may fatigue rapidly.

Look at all the rolls I don't give.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Torrent (Gillian) (7 + 2 = 9)

Your healing finally works, and both of your friends watch as their wounds heal.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (2)

You attempt to accelerate time upon the enemy's ankles, but you meet some kind of magical resistance. It's like the gargoyle is surrounded by some kind of shield...

caekdaemon (Anderson) (6 + 3 = 9)

You pull your mass field into the hammer's head and swing with all the force you can muster (9 v. 6). Your hammer collides with the ankle of the beast, creating an explosion of sparks, and a sharp fizzling. You see a large crack spread through the enemy's leg, but it remains standing somehow.

The gargoyle raises its foot (10 v. 10 EPIC DODGE), and you throw yourself backwards. The foot strikes the cobblestones with such force that they go flying in a radial burst. You move faster than you can think, avoiding a volley of stones that come your way with a skillful roll as Widdy blocks several more with the flat of his blade.

CaveCricket (Raphael) (1)

You fly up in the gargoyle's face, trying to get its attention, but you're not prepared when it does strike (7 v. 4) and you get batted out of the air, landing a good distance away with an array of bruises.

Tokochiro (Johni) (3)

You try to grow the thorns on your boots, but you're so distracted by your desperate attempt to run for you life that you make no progress. Also, you trip.

The gargoyle takes advantage of this (9 v. 10) and tries to grab you, but you roll aside just in time and get back to your feet.

Phd (John Adams) (7)

Gillian heals your wounds with his powers, and you feel a lot better.

You aim your homingbolt crossbow at the gargoyle, focusing your fire on its right leg, which was just damaged by one of your allies (7 v. 10). The bolt flies right into the spot you're aiming for, but it bounces off without doing any harm.

NPCs

Gabriel (-)

Gabriel gets further healed by Gillian.

Terry (2)

Terry jumps at the enemy (2 v. 4) but gets slammed aside by a swinging appendage.

Locations
-Torrent, Ociamarru, Phd, and Gabriel are by the entrance.
-CaveCricket, caekdaemon, Tokochiro and Terry are engaged in close combat.

My +3 to strength didn't apply :(

Or good aim :(

More. POWER! Charge the hammer again.

Yes it did. Did you not see the +3?

Oh wait. Strength. Well, I can't give STR bonuses to every attack. That would make strength op. But you're right - I should have given you the specific aim bonus.

Post Re: RtD: Illusia - (Roll #123)
I have failed to roll for the last two Sundays.
This Sunday, I must not stain my hands further with the blood of innocent kittens, lest I be dragged into the deepest pit of hell for my crimes....

*Ahem*

Yeah, it's about time I get rolling.

Torrent (Gillian) (1)

"Gargoyle, eh? Meet Orochi."
You put your palm down to the floor and...

Nothing.

Well, that was a complete waste of ti- (11 v. 4)
A rather large object impacts your shield right over your forehead, and you feel it run out of energy from the attack.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (11 + 5 = A lot)

I don't know if I want to give you a +5 for strengthy stuff just because it's OP, but I made the mistake of giving you the modifier in the first place, so you know what? Abuse it to your heart's content.

You race towards the enemy, shifting your arms back to regular human form, and without hesitation, jam your fingers into the crack on the gargoyle's leg. (12 v. 4)
Your hand is met by fierce resistance - something seems to be trying to stop you from reaching the body of the gargoyle itself, but you manage to push past.
You begin to pry at the crack, and it starts widening... (10 v. 5) but the gargoyle reaches down and snatches you up with a giant clawed hand, pinning your arms to your sides, and lifts you up into the air.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (2)

You concentrate, trying to charge your hammer with power, (5 v. 3) but then the gargoyle grabs a huge handful of rocks from the street and smacks you with them. It's a glancing blow, but you're still knocked off balance by it.

+1 Rush

CaveCricket (Raphael) (11)

"I should've seen one that coming."

Your shoulder shifts and twists around a bit, and then the bruising seems to be absorbed into your skin. Much better.

Tokochiro (Johni) (-)

Aw, you didn't pooooost....
And you had two weeks to do it, too.

(9 v. 3) You get slammed in the side by the gargoyle's handful of rocks. A few of the stones go flying while he's swinging them around.

Phd (John Adams) (4)

You aim carefully at the gargoyle's leg, and as soon as Nikolai gets out of the way (by getting grabbed), you fire. (4 v. 3) After the bright white beam disappears, you see a tiny scorch mark, far smaller than you expected, in the place where the crack is, but that's all.

NPCs

Gabriel (6)

"Terry! Give me a boost!"
"On it!"
Terry crouches low and Gabriel jumps on the Hunchback, getting vaulted on top of the gargoyle. He lands somewhat precariously where its head used to be and hands on to the stump of a neck with one hand.

Terry crouches low and Gabriel jumps on the Hunchback, getting vaulted on top of the gargoyle. Gabriel lands somewhat precariously where its head used to be and hands on to the stump of a neck with one hand.

(12 v. 10) Handily, the swinging arm of the gargoyle is rendered useless by the fact that Terry ducked to assist Gabriel.

Locations
-Torrent and Phd are by the entrance.
-caekdaemon, Tokochiro and Terry are engaged in close combat.
-Cavecricket is somewhat aside from the fighting.
-Gabriel is on top of the gargoyle.
-Ociamarru is grabbed the the gargoyle.

Since Ocia is allowed to exploit strength, can I?

Charge the hammer. I want the gods to fear my swing.
