KEEP FIRING GODDAMNIT BEND MACHINE ON THOSE GUNS
(Rolled a 6) You successfully use Bend machine on your two working guns. They will now fire twice the bullets, effectively giving you two attacks this turn. (Rolled a 10) Through force of will, you manage to train one gun on each enemy and fill them both with lead. This is a last-ditch manuver, and you doubt you will be able to pull it off again without additional training or substantial upgrades to your weapons. They both collapse to the floor, obviously dead. Maybe you could salvage some scrap from them to repair your injured leg. LEVEL UP! Please choose one new active or one new passive ability, or one augmentation to an existing active or passive.
Year of origin: 3097 Planet of origin: Charybdis Physical description: A silent squid-like monstrosity transplanted from its native oceans into the confines of a hydrostatic suit of powered armor, the Polybiblite relies on overwhelming technical firepower and a thin coating of carbon-steel to keep it alive in the physics-warping and insanity-inducing death rattle of the end of a doomed timeline. Mental description: The Polybiblite's massive stores of subcortical memory give it a slow, grating method of thought that involves constant cross-referencing with brood-wisdoms, technical instructions and hermetic rituals. Motor functions and cognitive function are consistently split, allowing it to function independent of somatosensory input and, conversely, make an escape while unconscious. Combat role: Tinfoil ICBM Weapons: Armstek ChemBlast 0037 (75% battery, 100% chemical, jammed (one turn to unjam)) AutoBullet 5 (30/100 rounds, 1 gun jammed(1 turn to unjam)) Active abilities: Bend Machine: pushes all mechanical components to their absolute breaking point with an output of mental force, either inducing a last-ditch surge in firepower or a crippling defect in enemy gear. Medium-high probability of backfiring. Passive Abilities: Eideticism: retains vast quantities of information without conscious processing, adding +1 to rolls on learning other passives. Put my hand sprawled on my hat while looking down and walking around and looking at the map like any professional cowboy would. Look for anything of use: rifle scopes, parts for internals or the guns, knife blades, or any appropriate materials to make said things. You adopt a very cowboyish pose. John Wayne would be proud. The map points out a large junk town a few miles to the north. Judging by the nearby landmarks, you are in the part of the map labeled "Here Be Dragons". (Rolled a 1) You begin your search of the junkyard. You can’t seem to find anything of use until you spot a large, seemingly functional scope sticking out of a pile of junk. You attempt to pry it loose, and you hear a creaking from the junk pile it is embedded in. It slowly rises into the air, supported by a giant fist. You see two spotlights flicker on in the pile, and then hear a metallic roar.
Year of origin: 1905 Planet of origin: Earth Physical description: A tall, handsome, bearded man with brown hair and eyes. His stubbly beard extends from his short hair. His attire comprises of tall boots, jean slacks, a sturdy leather belt a hard-worn white shirt with red suspenders, a leather vest and ammunition belt, a thin, slightly ripped red poncho, and a wide brimmed, dark reddish-brown hat. Essentially, a cowboy in his prime, out of his time. Mental description: James Sander is a complex man. Though he is a master with a gun, he avoids conflict despite his rugged appearance. A man of honor and pride, but also a hint of control, he will only fight if he needs to or if the other party insists. (In the case of a duel, for instance.) Or, of course, if he is angry, which is not as unoften as you might think. Not overly social, or socially outcast either, he is a dignified and recognizable character, but he keeps to himself, typically only talking to those that talk to him or about him. Respected amongst his townsfolk, who, like he, are residents one of the very few "cowboy" towns left. He spends much of his time in the saloon, as any self-respecting vigilante does. He is thought of as an ominous figure by his fellow townspeople, and very few people know much about him. He is often seemingly too muddled in his own issues to pay attention to others and will space out while by himself. Combat role: Badass Cowboy Weapons: Jacobs Choot ‘em Up 6-shot The Lone Ranger Ol' Faithful Active abilities: Steady aim: Able to not only shoot quite accurately, but also very quickly in a bullet time fashion. Passive abilities: Weapons Expert: +1 weapons slot, 25% discount on future weapon slots. Inventory: (2/10) Basic Time Traveler Tool Kit Letters/Map

“Eternity is a massive complex. We really aren’t sure of its origins, but we are looking into them. No matter how omniscient the Traveler may seem, we can still keep secrets from him. This is a very hidden area. He won’t find it. As for loyalty tests, that’ll come soon.”
(Rolled a 7) You attempt to spot any weaknesses in the defenses of the room. The snipers seem an impenetrable wall of defense, but you notice that a few do not appear to be alive. Aside from that, there is a lack of any heavy weaponry. If you could bring adequate cover, you could theoretically hold this room off forever.
Year of origin: 2314 Planet of origin: Talos IX Physical description:As his nickname suggests he resembles the Minotaur of Greek mythology, tall and beastlike with two horns growing from the side off their heads. Mental description:Talosians are usually known as primitive brutes with a tendency to go berserk at the slightest provocation. Before you could do anything, Robert shoots the thing in what appears to be one of its metallic legs. It gives off a high-pitched, metallic shriek. You bat at his arm, and attempt to convince him to help you drag the now immobilized, whimpering robot out of the building before it collapses. You hear a few more creaking noises and a small rumble.

Crawl over to the corpses, take the scrap and repair what I can. Following that, unjam and reload my various firearms.
New passive ability! > Flawless Operation: high levels of maintenance, synthetic oil compounds and refined mechanisms render the Polybiblite's technical equipment significantly less prone to jamming and easier to repair on the fly.

Crawl over to the corpses, take the scrap and repair what I can. Following that, unjam and reload my various firearms. (Rolled a 10) You scavenge the two pigman corpses for useful scrap. Surprisingly, one of their weapons appears to be intact. You can scavenge it for scrap parts, which you can use later for repairs, weapon upgrades, new weapons, or you can use it instead. It appears to be some sort of futuristic shotgun. Scavenging the rest of the body, you come across about 15 scrap parts. You use three of them to repair your damaged leg. You also unjam both of your jammed guns and reload your autocannons. Your laser will stay at 75% battery until you find an outlet to charge it.

Shoot that robo dead, steal its parts. (Rolled a 9) You pull out the Lone Ranger and shoot that monstrosity in one of its enormous spotlight eyes. It gives off a metallic roar and swipes at you. (Robotic Titan rolled a 6) It clips your shoulder and sends you flying. You feel injured.

Follow my new insurgent friend and obtain information regarding their plans. You follow Reggie deeper into the base. He starts pontificating on the virtues of the group, He suddenly stops about halfway down one hallway. He says, “Now. To business. You are here to work with us, correct? Well, I can’t trust you. “ He pulls out what appears to be a plasma pistol. “Now, you will do this task for me, or I will kill you. There is a timeline that has some of the operatives of the Traveler in it. You will find them, you will kill them. You will bring me their heads. Or I will kill you. You attempt to force Robert to carry out the little robot thing before the building collapses. Running about and having a look at the supports you spot that they are all disintegrating.
