And will then turn away because there are two consoles and one pc and SOMEBODY should draw the pie graph.

You forgot the biggest part of targeted demographics: the demographics. That means the amount of people.

To put it in terms you could understand, there are 196 countries. Roughly one fourth of the world lives in one whole country, China. So if you take the countries of Thailand and Vietnam together, with a population of roughly 160 million, and put it up next to China's whopping 1.4 billion, you could see that China still has more.
This isn't accurate compared to the demographics of gaming, but properly explains how demographics are important.

To apply this to the subject at hand:
PS3 has an estimated 70 million sales in November 2012 (since 2006). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS3
Xbox 360 has an estimated 70 Million sales in September 2012 (since 2005) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360

Since PCs have been made for a very long time, only going to use Windows 7 in the comparison, since it's of the newest generation.
Windows 7 computers have an estimated 600 million sales in 2012 (since 2009) http://bgr.com/2012/06/06/microsoft-windows-7-sales-600-million/
Not all Windows 7 owners are PC gamers; however, this Intel employee estimates how many there are in 2009: 100-300 million. http://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2009/03/03/just-how-many-pc-gamers-are-there
This means that based on this article, (which can be debated itself) suggests that the demographic of PC gamers (at the least) is bigger than each of the consoles by themselves, and is (at the most) much bigger than both of them put together. If you have any evidence more reliable than this article, please provide.

PC gaming is important.
Also Pop Cap is just silly. No. Stop it. I'm not listening lalalala

EDIT: I actually just realized that the sales of Windows 7 in 2012 when compared to the estimated amount of PC gamers in 2009 causes a rift, possibly implying that there are more PC gamers than I'm even letting on. However, since the internet is less helpful than people let on, I can't know the exact numbers.

I'm almost certain that everyone here plays a game either published by Paradox or developed by them.

aaa sothe you must listen to me

there's a zombie on your lawn

But yeah, i too am saddened at the increasing consolification(??) of video games. Fortunately there are still several highly entertaining games for PC, and if nothing else, playing co-op in Doom with ones brother is the epitome of hilarity. ESPECIALLY with Brutal Doom. Nevermind how cool it is to grab a berserker pack and do a flying kick through the nearest demon, sweeping down a colossal army of monsters with miniguns in tandem just feels way more badass than it has any right to. And also that feel you get when you inspect the carnage afterwards. In fact, i've recently made a smiley that pretty much illustrates that feel.

My sister and I were discriminated against in class today. We spent a good hour trying to explain to these two jesus freaks about how homosexuality isn't wrong, and isn't a choice. Now instead of vent blogging, we're rapping about it; alternating verses, I just wrote the first. I'll post it when I'm done.

That's not discrimination.

I honestly couldn't tell if it was sarcasm or not because it seems like a generic brave atheist circlejerk kinda post

Also I take back what I said about SR3's campaign, it is actually pretty entertaining in of itself, perhaps because I'm just getting into my character (who is a total badass I should add)

Plus what other game could offer such memorable moments
(Sorry for the quality, I'm playing on ~mediumish to begin with and Steam is like "lol jpeg screenshots" so yeah)

The Zimos chariot is pretty much the best scene in the entire game, hands down.

Oleg's a bro, I would totally give him a fistbump as long as I could put my fist in some strong gloves so my hand wouldn't break.
