OFFICIAL first person to complain about the simcity gameplay and commercial. In Mykas face.
It exploits homosexuals.
Gameplay sucks.

Playing the StarDrive closed beta. I can sum up the game in four words.

Game of the Year.

Atleast, for the 4x genre anyway. It's got the ship combat of Starfarer, the scale of Distant Worlds, the planet management of Galactic Civilizations 2 and is just plain epic in every way.

I can't see how you got bored in Metro and superimmersed in Bioshock, its the absolute opposite for me. I even played in just normal and had a great time. Different opinions I guess

The only reason it didn't bore me was because it was so damn short and easy. Beat it in like 3 sittings.

I don't like steelport as a place, I find it difficult to navigate and obstructive. The game is still excellent in its attitude to seriousness, and co-op is always funny. I wish it could accommodate more players though.

The campaign isn't particularly deep or rewarding but the sandbox elements are top-notch and coop is a hoot.

It got fairly tedious, even playing with a buddy. Saint's Row 2 was much better.

Hey I know it's a long shot, but have any of you guys played this game called Cortex Command? I opened it up again recently and it feels a lot harder than it did before. I used to be able to beat Maginot with just the starting guys, but that seems pretty impossible now. Am I just bad or what changed?

The enemy AI are a lot more competent, whilst ally AI are still mooks.
Units can phase through each other, so they can bullet storm.
Coalition don't take very well to wounds.

Solutions, Prey on Dropships like it is the only way to save your life.
Stack up units in blindspots, and hit full force.
Prevent any unnecessary damage, as in hole up in sweet spots.
