Seeing Barqa take a pounding from the Tanks Johann calls out ot him
"Barqa, you dolt, you're going to let your mech get trashed by some antiques like that? Back the ♥♥♥♥ up. Can't take out everything." and realising the situation he got himself into he heeds the advice and backs off from the Tanks.
Once again the Tanks and the Machinegun trucks fire on Barqa and fail to hit, the Rocket trucks fire on Johann and one scores a hit on him.

You decide to wait for the others to finish things off and save your ammo for more serious targets, but it seems Barqa and Johann have other ideas about that and run away from the Tanks.

Slamming your Jumpjets on you jet away from the Tanks at top speed, and luckily your jump throws you out of the way just as the Tanks pummel your former position.

Description: A broad of build but rather short figure with a magnificent red beard. Doesn't talk much.
Getting the feeling that you might have a better chance of hitting the Trucks if you were closer you decide to get yourself closer to them.

As your main weapon is out of ammo you decide to just sit and wait for it to recharge some.

Description: A friendly and easy-going fellow of German descent with excellent natural reflexes, he's a deadly speed demon in his mech.

You keep up your retreat from the area but one of the Rockets manges to strike you in the back

Description: A lanky, tanned American pilot who lost his right eye before joining the mercs. It doesn't seem to have negatively affected his piloting skills. Calm and confident.
Ability: Evasion Focus [Scaling/variable skill: Evasion Focus (3) = +3 evasion, -3 accuracy. Evasion Focus (5) = +5 evasion, -5 accuracy. Etc.]
Seeing that Barqa doesn't exactly have things as handled as it seemed you decide to back him up some with a salvo of Missiles at the already damaged Tank which detonates rather satisfyingly.

Note: this camp is one of the more tank/truck heavy camps, and more often than not you'll be facing fewer, tougher enemies rather than a few dozen weak ones like in this battle.
