That's what everyone's been telling me. And by everyone, I mean websites. But regardless, still figured it was worth a try.

It's astounding: the amount of people who played Uncharted that have no idea what Tomb Raider was.

My opinion on Metro is that it's a more polished and cinematic STALKER. Pros cons blah blah. STALKER itself is very rough around the edges, so Metro is perfect for people not really accustomed to STALKER's various.... quirks. It was also made by a splinter group of GSC Gameworld, and ultimately got to live on in spite Gameworld's recent death.

STALKER and Metro are the best singleplayer shooters IMHO. Nothing really compares to them. Except maybe Spec Ops: The Line, but I honestly don't usually care as much about story.

Seconded, I thought Sepc-ops the line was gonna be shitty but damn what a curveball. Haven't played much stalker, do enjoy Metro2033 a bunch though.

Bioshock doesn't appeal to me. I don't like the sea and I don't like superpowers. Maybe ill like Infinite though.

It loses novelty, I mean you can mind control, bee swarm, and so on, but a simple gun twirling, and fireball gets you through the day.

STALKER wins in my book because of open-worldness.

I once tried Stalker and...i died everytime. Either i was killed by some night creatures or i was hungry or too exposed to radiation. Sometimes because of bandits.

Play System Shock 2 and then you will understand why it's a modernized System Shock 2.
